It's not that you're not welcome or wanted, but be consistent. And bring something to drink next time.
Not in one spot Simon, that requires the designate (Xeno) or a volunteer. bama has done the last couple, but it is time consuming and I am not sure what level of thanks he got. You can work it by logging in as admin and then going to the link Hornsy provided on the previous page. This is becoming an unusual case of the clothes having no emperor..

Many thanks bama - very much appreciated work to update. If the Gariwerd boys get in on Friday night you are cordially invited to the Chelsea Rolfey lookalike competition at the Bulls Tavern. A couple of 4*4s (cleaned and with warrants of fitness) will be available to chauffeur you there from the accomodation at the stunning Wharekauhau Lodge (wharekauhau.co.nz). Wharekauhau and Schubert Wines are new sponsors who we are delighted to welcome into the Waikik family. If you are into pinot have a look at (schubert.co.nz/main.html). The owners / winemakers are a delightful couple; both of whom are German Oenology graduates. Mitch is organising a pig hunt on Monday morning which should enable you to clear the cobwebs from the three nights of revelry we have planned. P.S. Apologies for the blatant advertising Walesy but the Lodge and Schubert Wine are special. How nice to be able to tell your partner you were looking for a location for a weekend away when she probably thought you were feeding your footy habit.
To the ORFFA membership From The Waikiks This is to give you formal notice that we wish to claim Luke Mitchell of the Carlton Football Club under the little known, but entirely proper, Father Uncle Cousin King rule. The rest of the Mitchell clan are thrilled to be part of the Waikik experience - and want to bring Luke into the fold forthwith. Any questions about the rule should be addressed to Hornsy with the rule's mnemonic in the subject line followed by the single world OFF. Thank you chels
Great piece of work bama. I have never left your efforts unthanked and you will be rewarded with lashings of rum served in a pineapple and a seat next to Chelsea at the game. No feeling crook up here.

Thank you chels
Confess I rather like this new rule. But I guess any self-serving anarchist such as myself would. If it were to come to pass, it would have to be (a) no one else has him (b) should be taken in the draft at (3) cost of a second round draft pick and (7) it does not set a precedent.
thanks TiB, please note that the procedure for questions about the rule is set out in my earlier post. "Self-serving anarchist" - a burning question if ever there was one.

Quote from Simonoz on August 15, 2012, 22:57 Do we have results from last week anywhere ?
This. From the man who starts a thread about publishing jobs in Singapore, then promptly forgets it. This. From the man who slinks off the tucker box and crawls on all fours into the eight. But yes, the TS League vs League is rigged in favour of the establishment. Do have a point there old COC.
That's for this year bama, then we have all the off-season frivolities to deal with, and I am looking forward to them already. 2 drafts, plenty of research and some finger to the wind guesses to guide the selections designed to improve next years output...

There has been no slinking off the Tucker Box, we just saw a car so chased after it, who knew it was headed to the ORFFA Finals (thanks to your % boosting as well) As for League Vs League....thats still smarts, shouldnt a handicap system pump up the underdog to even the playing field ? Sholdnt the Platinum League have to beat us by XYZ points ??? Stupid
RE the glorious EXPATS stuffing the plats and then being taken out by an ill conceived "handicap", yep it still smarts and annoys. You make a good point sNoZ (TiB might say "for once"); in sport as divergent as horse racing and golf the presumed better animal / player gives away an advantage rather than receiving it. Can only assume that "man for man" we were seen as superior to last year's performers. We should not let this go - I plan to insert the EXPAT scores and commentary into the semi-final thread.
This weeks match is a match for the double chance... My boys are looking forward to going up the Guim and giving their best... Should be a solid contest against the mullet brigade.
