    Hmm, hmm. No. 7
CHARLIES OPENING SPELUNKERS 1073 def by VENUS BAY VULTURES 1227
Can't understand why Bandit is so keen for me to finish the review. He copped one in the guts and a couple up the chops from Fitzy. Still, miners are supposed to be tough. This was despite the efforts of Sam Hyphentated-Seton and Zac. This new isolation rule of one to a bench is a killer. Meanwhile, the Vultures are overjoyed to have the Doc back and firing. Howe realized he would have to lift with the Doc back in town and served up a nice 156. Gaff and Parker were good in the middle and Greene and O'Meara good everywhere. The injury to Kruz will hurt a bit, but a good stand-in in Stef.
I dunno. I sort of appreciate the Commish saying stay safe. But if you stay safe you will not be first past the post.

BIRDSVILLE BATTLERS 904 def by IRON KNOB CODPIECES 1182
Just another day at the office for the Cods. File that one would you sweetheart.
A donut in DEF, some bravery from B. Smith and Sheed, Witts will be better for the run, but that just about sums it up. The Birds are masters at pulling rabbits out of hats, but these days are looking a bit thin on rabbits (must be the drought up there). If a rookie gets dropped = trouble, but they are not called the Battlers for nothing. @JC
Burgoyne turns the clock back for the Cods. Vintage Burgundy. Tons for Macrae, Shuey, Greenwood (another good pick-up) and Robbie Gray. An OPP in the ruck and another in DEF and (almost) a donut on I/C. Some cracks appearing and will need to tighten up this week. Still, I wouldn't mind seeing Mihocek in ruck - he does it well everywhere else and anyone called Brody is a natural.

WHYKICKAMOOCOW INCORRIGIBLES 1276 def MOUNT BEAUTY UGLIES 990
Nothing can go wrong across the pond at the moment. Jacinda has them firing on all cylinders and nothing less than a convincing win would be expected. Tons to Burton (yet another shrewd pick-up), Fyfe, Presty, Tich, Sauce and ROB. Nicklearse Newman might find his citizenship under review or, at the very least, some heavily tattooed fellas knocking on his door late at night.
The Uglies had one of those days, but probably a good one to drop. Four, delivered to your door, donuts means a big reshuffle this week, hopefully with some ins. Tons to Maynard, Sides and Petracca, plus a whopping 186 to Viney made it look exciting for a brief moment.

Greenhouse Gas Hoppers looking the goods at the moment with a % of 183.5. Catch that if you can. If this were the NFL and first past the post there would be green stuff changing hands for a little tanking. Not that I'm casting nasturtiums at the US of A, but with that bloke taking over the button from Snoz, is there any trust out there anymore?

Round 2 should see even more uneven contests and that 183.5 might crack 200.

@Bandit I would have thought Spelunker supporters would be kitted out in shovels, as opposed to pitch forks. But then, these are strange times.

your imagination is a rare and wonderful thing @TerryinBangkok

Jacinda and Dr Ashley Bloomfield (the chief medical officer) have been brilliant. Great to see Science being applied to a problem and to date is has worked. Mind you, we are fortunate to be an island at the bottom of the world that has no common borders. Hence, self-isolation was feasible.

Not just Covid - I think she has been masterful at a whole range of things. Extremely jealous.
