Congratulations @chris88 on the Nuffers fightback win against the Devils last weekend.

I watched the Geelong vs Sants game on Kayo and after that game Cradle Mountain were in a strong position to win their ORFFA game with Mannagh scoring a Devils high 130 points. At three quarter time the Devils led the Nuffers by 99 points 1,113 to 1,014. The Devils usually have one game a year where they clutch defeat from the jaws of victory but last round it was more about the Nuffers raising their game to an incredible level rather than Cradle Mountain’s scoring rate plummeting. In the final quarter CMD managed 328 points which is slightly above 1,300 pace for an entire game. Led by Rowell’s game-high 161 points Nareewillock managed a phenomenal 480 points in the final quarter which equates to an astronomical 1,920 pace for an entire game. In the process the Nuffers turned a 99 point three quarter time deficit into a 53 point against fellow top 4 side the Devils, a white-hot 152 point turn around in the final qtr. Patrick Voss certainly responded to Chris saying “Holding a raffle for F4, really not sure who to put in. Voss today perhaps but not sure who to put there permanently.” Voss surprised many people including his coach by kicking a game-changing six goals and registered a SC ton. Whatever Chris told his team at three quarter time well and truly worked and the Nuffers went into video game mode to go on a final quarter rampage crushing everything in their way.

Whilst it is unlucky to score 1,400 points and lose, the top four teams on the ORFFA ladder all scored 1,400 points last weekend so any combination of games between these two teams would have resulted in the losing team scoring 1,400+.
