First gamer and my number one draft selection Brodie Grundy... to play or not to play, that is the question.
It might depend if he insists on tying his fringe up in a pony tail.

My recollection of the Wakik Match Committee meeting is a little hazy. I think the team to play the Warriors from the Whitsundays on Sunday is: D - Taylor, Hibberd, Duffield, Maguire (Russell) M - Fyfe, McVeigh, Hannebery, T. Mitchell (Crouch) R - Jacobs F - Wright, Robinson, Staker, Elliott (Podsiadly) I/C - I Smith, Ziebell (Macaffer) If and when I find the minutes after talking to Chelsea, picking up TiB's mob, harvesting some spuds (why did I put those to tasks together?), catching some waves and some fish, getting the venison that's been hanging, checking the pinot supply and the sundry other tasks we attend to there may be some last minute changes. Whoa chels! Don't go digging up spuds mate - you'll do your back in. Besides, we've brought our own. Very fond of venison.

It's our new undetectable performance enhancing cloning programme. We've learned from the Bombers errors. Rather than fixing up the existing players, we just make a new working model. The money we invested in the new 3D printer is really starting to bear fruit. And arms, legs, etc. If this test run works out well we're going to have a full side of JPK's and Jeager's next season.
But alas, I've said too much.
The Defender (Broadbent) is actually Maxwell (wink, wink)

Better to be broad than bent, although a combination still wouldn't get many complaints.

After our big win last week over the much more fancied opponents, Wagga Wagga, we have decided to take an almost unchanged lineup into this week... Almost unchanged, because we would like to give Cam Pedersen another chance to make his Cocky debut, after being a late withdrawal 2 weeks running. If he happens to be a late out again, Shaun McKernan is back from his 2 week suspension and will be able to fill in in the ruck if needed, where Sam Bleese and Jimmy Toumpas have been shown to be way out of their depth when filling in the last two weeks. HOWEVER, we have made the call not to name an emergency on the ruck line, which, given the events of the past two weeks, would seem completely negligent, but it should be noted that it is intentional and the non-coaching members of the selection committee have vowed to hand in their resignations if Cam Pedersen withdraws late again this week. Given Cam is in a red hot battle with Shaun McKernan to keep his spot on the list for 2014 and beyond, he would be extremely keen to repay the selectors faith in him and bull the boots on this weekend. <p style='margin-bottom: 10px; font-family: Helvetica,Arial,San-Serif; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; line-height: 16px; color: #000000;][span style='font-size: 16px;] <p style='margin-bottom: 10px; font-family: Helvetica,Arial,San-Serif; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; line-height: 16px; color: #000000;][span style='font-size: 16px;]IN: Cam Pedersen

Reckon playing Iron Knob is like trying to run to the horizon - when you think you've got there, it gets away from you again. Harvey, Cunnington, McKenzie, Walker all go mad and score 100+ - Cunnington 150+. Manage something like 645 or so from 6 players ... and yet I look and see Goldstein, Ablett and Nathan Jones going mad with points, Puopolo scoring 120 last night and Iron Knob something like 750 from 8 players.

Know the feeling Chris. Warriors very much enjoying New Zealand, if decent scores are any indication. Won't get the win, but obviously the pinot perks them up.

I'm glad Tom Hawkins took his savaging in the media from the Foul Bay head honcho well and stuck it up him with a 128 in the reserves this week. Story of my season....

Don't be so sure TiB, after Motlop's huge 149 I reckon you are very close to a win over here. Mumbles are emerging about head honcho chels' selection policy and skills as the Waikicks head towards consecutive home losses. Questions such as why were Crouch (100) and JPod (82) not on the park while Jamie Elliott gets 40 from a quarter of footy? Waikik: 808 / 10 Warriors: 712 / 7 Notwithstanding, Chelsea looked radiant and noted that the weather was very good for her complexion - unlike the climate in the place in which she is currently forced to live.
