Cool, I got the Friday evening double - Waikick players get the green jerseys for both North (Ziebell) and Carlton (Graham). Lots of laughter at the Bulls Hit Tavern.

I have just realised I have done something with my team thatI was requested I not do, so - with permission from my opponent - I want to put it right. I have left 3 guys on the bench that I intended on putting in as loophole players - Cornes, Hunter and Cooney. But to do so I would name non playing types in their place - thing is, I was going to name Lamb and Coniglio - both injured - in my side to allow them to play. I didn't do this this week, and was requested during the last split round not to leave players spaces blank in my team - which I was going to do instead. With permission I'd like to do the right thing and do what was requested of me and move the three players above into my team and not name any emergencies to replace them. I don't want to put blank spaces in ym team to allow emergencies to come onto the ground - that's not right. Sorry that I didn't get this right the first time - I seem to have this issue occur in split rounds. Won't happen again.

What I'll do is leave things as they are then, but if there is the chance to name someone rather than leave a blank, then I will. If I can't loophole properly, than that's my problem. The three guys - Cooney, Hunter, Cornes - haven't played yet, but I'll leave things where they are.

http://tooserious.net/forum/Forum/tabid/91/forumid/15/postid/65653/scope/posts/Default.aspx#65653 reading back, it seems you, Len, were the only one to comment that blanks were ok to activate an emergency.

I recall you maintaining that because no-one else spoke up they all agreed with you, my logic on reflection, was less flawed... I don't have a real issue which way a vote goes, though I think it's laughable to assume that naming a non player is somehow better than naming no-one at all..
Yeah, that is kinda laughable Len. That's not exactly the point tho. The problem was that in round 1, Chris didn't even have any non playing players to name. So instead of naming a player who was playing, it was allowed to be left blank, bringing on the emergency. That is not fair.
