Even less now with Paparone dropped, still because we hate blanks we have decided to leave him in. In the spirit of blank fellowship, we are naming Nathan Bock on the IC (Who said he wouldn't play again??!!) and Matty Arnot gets to run around in a spiritual sense at least in the mids. Selection committee seriously kicking itself that they couldn't fit in the rest of the non players... The statisticians are currently in a state of chaos debating on whether this game counts for the three strikeouts, and if it does what does it do to their averages... The realists have gone for a beer.. Backs: Weller, Hombsch, Bruce & Day Mids: Williams, Ward, Dunstan, [span style='text-decoration: line-through;]Arnot - Kelly Ruck: Ryder Fwds: Cameron, Tomlinson, [span style='text-decoration: line-through;]Paparone, Smith IC: Stanley, [span style='text-decoration: line-through;]Bock - Terlich

I like this idea. I may be crap at cut and paste, but I can innovate :p

    Revised Waikick team, Prap I am posting both the original and the revised, if I have, in your opinion, breached the spirit of ORFFA please let me know and I will revise again. If other members of the Association fell I am outside of the spirit please advise. Team posted before part one of the split round: <p style='color: #000000; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #ffffff;]D - McVeigh, Duffield (107), H Taylor (125), Hibberd (44) (Pedersen, 62) <p style='color: #000000; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #ffffff;]M - Fyfe (102), Dal Santo (103), B Crouch, Hannebery (Ziebell, 22) <p style='color: #000000; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #ffffff;]R - H McIntosh (40) <p style='color: #000000; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #ffffff;]F - J Elliott, Podsiadly, M Robinson (70), T Mitchell (M Wright) <p style='color: #000000; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #ffffff;]I/C - S Jacobs, I Smith (Crameri, 64) <p style='color: #000000; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #ffffff;] <p style='color: #000000; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #ffffff;]Revised team: <p style='color: #000000; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #ffffff;]D - McVeigh, Duffield, H Taylor, Hibberd (Pedersen) <p style='color: #000000; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #ffffff;]M - Fyfe, Dal Santo, B Crouch, [span style='color: #000000; background: #ffffff;]I Smith(Ziebell) - I Smith moves from I/C to this line, Ziebell remains as E <p style='color: #000000; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #ffffff;]R - H McIntosh <p style='color: #000000; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #ffffff;]F - J Elliott, Podsiadly, M Robinson, M Wright - M Wright moves from E to onfield as Titch not selected - maybe should have left unchanged?. <p style='color: #000000; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #ffffff;]I/C - S Jacobs, C Knights (Crameri) - Knights replaces I Smith (see above). Only change for the Nunna Nuffers is to replace the injured Petterd with L Keefe in the backline.

'If other members of the Association fell (sic) I am outside of the spirit please advise.' Dunno. Could just mean you have run out of wine chels or I need to call Ghostbusters. While I am here, would just like to add Kyle Martin as EMG on the I/C bench. For some reason it was left as a BLANK and tsLeagues won't let me fill it.

Greetings ORFFAns, I hope you are all well. I have emerged from my 5 week Red Centre sabbatical and have officially snapped back to reality (or fantasy, as it were). Many thanks to YAD the Blonde Mullet for keeping the ship afloat while I have been AWOL. Ironically, it seems the boys have fared better in my absence... re: discussion on loop holing and fielding blanks - good to see open and frank discussion on this and from what I can interpret, no one manipulating for unfair advantage. That said, it would be good to put this to bed at seasons end. FWIW - I agree that the issue that needs voting on is that of loop holing, and I for one would be happy to see this practice removed from our league. On a side note, I am happy to offer my post-round review services as of next weekend if Chris or other contributors need a spell.

Good to have you back grav, handy assistant coach you have there. For me this split round has been a drag. Why not simply schedule a weekend without footy? Everyone gets a break including spectators. All teams go into the last few games with very similar days between games. Seems bloody obvious - which I guess is why the whizz kids at afl house have not thought of it.

Welcome back Grav. Winter in the red heart always a nice experience. Somewhere I am playing you this weekend (which for you would have some bearing on finals position) and was hoping your absence might be some sort of advantage, but clearly not to be.

People doubted my underdog status but that was well and truly justified. A 1600+ record score without Ablett for the Knob. Deserved premiership favourites, unlucky to not win last year (had one week of bad luck). Their bad luck this year is not having Ablett, but to be honest it is not as big a loss as some would assume. He is just cream on an already very good cake. The midfield depth that has been assembled is formidable. 5 x 100+ mids without Ablett and 2 x 100+ ruckmen means that the drop off from no Ablett is very minimal. Lets hope I don't have to play you until the GF Jim....although I don't like my record against the Blimps and the Cows either of recent times (this is not to discount the other fancies).
