    Was on track for a nice 1500 until Hill and Seedsman struggled - though that's not a patch on the 1600 scored by Iron Knob! <table cellspacing='0' cellpadding='0] <td class='LadderCell ' style='text-align: right;][span id='dnn_ctr718_View_rptFixture_HScore_5]1468 <td class='LadderCell ' style='text-align: right;][span id='dnn_ctr718_View_rptFixture_HTeam_5]Darraweit Guim Dirigibles <td class='LadderCell ] vs <td class='LadderCell ' style='text-align: left;][span id='dnn_ctr718_View_rptFixture_ATeam_5]Marble Bar Misfits <td class='LadderCell ' style='text-align: left;][span id='dnn_ctr718_View_rptFixture_AScore_5]1027

To be brutally honest this was a pretty dull game except for a couple of stand out performances from the Packers. Les W Votes 5. Rhys Stanley, 145, PPP 4. Lachie Henderson, 132, PPP 3. Anthony Miles, 128, PPP 2. Harry Taylor, 125, WKI 1. Paul Duffield, 107, WKI* Very honourable mention to Toby Green (107, PPP) who lost on a count back as a result of being in the more disappointing team. Brad Crouch also gets a mention for consistency; since returning from a broken leg he has pumped out scores of 98, 122, 107 and 94 to suggest he is among the better second year players.

Welcome back Grav :) I wish Gariwerd had a waterboy like yours. Yad stepped up pretty well mate. Shame he couldn't get a full side up for our game this round tho mate. Ive scored another late season win. My draft position is suffering late in the year haha. Congrats Jimbo! What a score! Without Ablett too.

Also, I notice Foul Bay now have the greatest Points Against. They've had a target on them again this year, and looks as tho teams are bringing their A-game against them. I wonder if they'll hold off all the challengers again this season. And, Lenny120, looks like your mob took it easy against the bottom team, and were lucky to scrape home for the win.

Thanks chels Due to having a zero, 4, 5 and a 9 among my scores, I expected to score 800. In the end I was at least honorable in defeat.

Well done Knobby - ORFFA history is written. To do it with GAJ on the bench is even more exceptional.

</br>Welcome back Grav. Winter in the red heart always a nice experience. Somewhere I am playing you this weekend (which for you would have some bearing on finals position) and was hoping your absence might be some sort of advantage, but clearly not to be. Yep you certainly crushed any faint glimmer of finals aspiration I had in the ts Port SC league. Yet another year of underwhelming SC for me, tho still in hunt in cash league so haven't thrown in towel yet. And cheers to Jimbo on his record score. Stellar!

The Codpiece's are keeping low key on their record score. 'It was nice to get up and smash the Chooks, they are the bench mark in this league and anytime we can play well against them is a good thing' said injured captain G Ablett. 'But we arent getting too ahead of ourselves. Last year still leaves a bitter taste in our mouth. Its all good to score 1600 when we are clearly locked in the top 4, but if we cant put up points in the finals we will be on the golf course in week 2 just like last year' Ablett was clear of the expectations at Iron Knob; 'Its premiership or bust for this side this year. Its time to deliver to our fans what they have been long waiting for'

I will pull together a review tonight for the round. I will however need to don the red vest for the review next week. If any green vest wearers are able to jump into the frame, that would be lovely!

I'm glad someone else noticed this. While I wouldn't have it any other way, I had noticed over the course of the year that probably 6 sides have had their best week for the season when up against me and most sides have scored over their season average against me. Given that I don't play myself, the overall numbers back this up in terms of points against. I do feel a bit of pressure being the defending champ. Nice spot to be in, but there is an expectation on me none the less.

Wonder what he would fetch on the trade market?

As the highest points scorer, that's a significant consideration.
