Dean is away touring NZ, so I'll check his squad and throw up scores for our game later, the misfits were killed though..
the rush to preview NZ talent before the next draft continues. Len, do you know if has come over for the Saints v. Swans in Wellington game on Anzac Day?

Saints will take talent anywhere we can get it right now, any tall buggers looking half fit near the gate could get a game, all you have to do is prove you want to be there
Cradle Mountain initially struggled to overcome a spirited visiting Misfits, but the bar opened at halftime and the Devils recorded acomfortable1216 to 939 victory

Just when i thought I had a full squad for the first time this season, two late outs. UGH
There's been a few teams really really badly hit by injuries. Marble Bar and Gundagai have copped it, so has Nunawading, Lovely Banks ... even Darraweit. I think the expansion of lists is increasingly looking like a valid idea. As for my mob, its pretty plain that the injuries have derailed the season. I think there's 3-4 players that are going to be on the trading block for draft picks come mid-season. Guys like McPharlin, Dal Santo, Harvey - capable players, but ones who I probably have to part with if I am going to rebuild a team.
for what it is worth Chris the rejuvenation process is possible and can be quite rapid. Sadly it may involve letting an older elite player go (Sam Mitchell in the Waikik's case) to move forward. I would also suggest trying to build a strategic position (e.g., multiple quality ruck men) so you have a desirable item to trade and hence do so from a position of strength. Good luck and please talk to me about trades before you contact Fitzy!

Your best performance for the year so far Jen. You've definitely got my ragtag mob of blimps covered when it comes to our matchup over the coming weekend. And you lost Daw early, had Winderlich end up a sub and Kane Lucas and 90 points sit the game out. I think I might be in a fair degree of trouble.

Good luck and please talk to me about trades before you contact Fitzy! Agree chels - I'm actually looking forward to the rejuvenation process - a fun and challenging part of the league. At full strength my team is, I venture to say, Top 6-8 material. But that has happened at all this year, and I've already started rejuvenating through the draft and trades a couple of months back - that's already getting some rewards with 4 or 5 young guys getting games for their AFL teams and my ORFFA team and playing well. Its going to be a fun and interesting process. I'm actually looking forward to the challenge. But don't worry Chels - I'll definitely be in touch. And I'm thinking that there might be a few teams interested in 3-4 of the players I'm looking to shed.

Alex Johnson and now Patton both out for the season.
That's OK JC - can the esteemed representatives from one or both of the aforementioned clubs pull the results together please.
System is falling down. Chris can't write until he has the scores. Scores were, I believe, in the hands of Ant and Fitzy. Until someone suggested let's put them up ourselves. DOES NOT WORK. Post your scores in the thread for that round by all means. But they are essentially there for Ant/Fitzy to verify and to work out scores for any slackers who did not post them. Chris, et al, cannot do write ups until this verified info is available. I believe Awful have found a way to keep running scores and as a result can knock out their review on Sunday night. Are we going to stand by and be outdone?
