Hopefully not pre-empting things too much, but some muted celebrations at home y'day as the Lilacs chalked up their first ever ORFFA win. I say 'muted' because both the Lilacs and the Grasshoppers of Gundagai have been smashed by the injury stick in recent weeks, and it continued this week, with Lenny Hayes a late withdrawal for the Hoppers, Chapman pulling out for the Lilacs, and then Jack Grimes busting his collarbone for the Lilacs. FWIW, I hope that both teams get a better run with injuries in the next little bit, as neither coach deserves the carnage they've endured in the first few weeks of the season.
