The Dirigibles: D: McPharlin, Duffield, Thompson, McKenzie (emergency Rance) M: Boyd, Cunnington, Walker, Foley (welcome back) (emergency Newnes) R: Maric (emergency Dal Santo OOP) F: Walters, Edwards, Betts, Harvey (welcome back) (emergency Bewick) I/C: Van Berlo, Hill (emergency Tomlinson) In: Van Berlo, Harvey, Foley, Thompson Out: Dal Santo, Bewick, Vickery, Rance Nick Dal Santo will, I believe, be asked to play an entirely different role this week, as Captain Mullet is extremely unlikely to play. Dirigibles management is hopeful NDS will respond to the challenge well. We also welcome back Harvey and Foley to the side - the first time both will play in the same team since Rd 10 last year. Vickery's injury saw him not able to be considered, while Bewick needs a rest. Rance has been dropped for poor form in the hope his demotion fires him up. Dal Santo's role will, as said, be an interesting one. The Guim has confirmed it will be fielding the world's shortest forward line this week as well. Who needs KPFs anyway? Tomlinson and Newnes unlucky to miss.
Lefties Def - Scotland, Grundy, Golby, Suban (Nicholson) Mid - Priddis, Selwood S, Carrazzo, Coniglio Ruc - Hale Fwd - Lewis, Naitinui, Monfries, Saad I/C - Mzungu, Curnow (Wright S) In - noone Out - Jetta

EDIT: Probably worded that wrong, but I think he deserves a priority pick. sNoZ can pick his nose. There is a thread for this discussion (picks), as well as the other option Fitzy could have alluded to, squad size.

Hi bama, do you have any other bombers or cats other than Guthrie? Do not want to set a precedent and will accept a ruling from the Commish or match committee, but happy to accept Guthrie in your team.
Fellas been a hard day and been out all day unexpectadly... sorry for the lateness and understand if you don't accept it, have taken out my Essendon/Geelong (Watson) players as I don't think its fair to have them in. For what its worth, havn't seen a second of the game yet and no idea whats going on. Thanks Chels, yes Guthrie is my only Cat or Bomber I'll throw him on the interchange if it's allowed if not no stress.

Anyway, thanks for the thoughts Fitz & Chris, Lenet al.......BUT I do not want, require, request, demand....um, insert any other word you want here ..........any additional FEEL SORRY FOR ME PICKS. I was just bitching & moaning about having 17 outs, which is my want. Carry on lads & lasses

Carry on lads & lasses Appreciate the expression, I am personally becoming very anti any kind of concession pick, other than those determined by ladder position. My issue is with structure, next year it may not be Gundagai, it could just as easily be iron knob or foul bay that find themselves with 10 injured players, it's now like it's an outcome we can manage
Agreed Len....we can use my team this year as the guinea pig, an example what can happen when you walk under a ladder. Last year I finished 4th I think, so the team cant be filled with schmo's. Just all fell apart in the first 7 rounds this year. Have always beenyes on additional players in squad, even before my disastrous campaign this year.....so happy with whatever is decided. But have always been against compensatory picks. The reverse ladder is enough for me.
I hate late team entries, but there was no way I could of known I wouldn't of been able to enter my team on Friday, so I guess I would be happy for an example to be made for future benefit of the ORFFA, but then again really would like the team to be accepted.
