Too late I think. I was out most of the evening in the leadup to all the games so hadn't seen any of the teams really. Got our conference next week and I had to get out and buy a pair of neat shoes to wear with the rest of my overdressed costume.

I only jumkped on at the last minute to get Cornes in and didn't see your message Ant - thanks for sending it though.

Tyson hasn't been right all year with that knee, unfortunate they chose this week to withdraw him.

I've got an emergency in Lyons, but he'll probably be vested so I don't expect very much out of him. Though that is better than having nothing at all!

Guess we'll wait and see what happens. I am happy that Tyson is getting a rest though - he's been hobbling around on one leg for about 4 weeks the poor guy. He averaged about 100 a game last week and barely 70 a game this year. I guess if Lyons gets me 50 I'd be satisfied.

Hopefully Kane Cornes can repay the faith at least :)

As Cooney saunters his way past 60 SC points early in the third quarter, I look at Jarryd Lyons vest effected 30 and wonder what world I was inhabiting on Friday night when I did the Guim team.

There's been a trolley load of real life over the past week which has distracted me but having Cooney in for Lyons (and Cornes in for Tyson) should've been pretty simple.

That said, I'm not sure if that would've made the difference this week as the Spelunkers have played really well. My mob have been OK but about 10% off what they'd normally get, and that can be really costly when playing good sides.

That and having 30 from Jarryd Lyons!

Bravo Bandit, I reckon you might hold on unless my guys in the last game go absolutely bananas.

Waikick supporters who took the odds on Nat's Les W point scoring streak continuing will be cashing in their tickets and considering the wisdom of reinvesting. They will also be very happy about the day Sauce Jacobs and young Callum Sinclair committed their ruck output to the club.

The skeleton crew Nuffers put in an unexpected win and find an unlikely hero in Travis Varcoe and six other who tonned up. WooHoo!

Well done to the Spelunkers, knocking up a nice 1356 to 1224 win over the Guim.

Even with Mr Cooney's points included, the result wouldn't have changed.

Not unhappy with my mob - 1224 with about 9 guys below average is passable. Wouldn't have minded a couple of extra big efforts, but we'll live.

Kane Cornes lifted for his last game. A pearler from a champion. Maric and Blicavs nigh on the best scoring ruckmen in the league right now. Quality

Now 4 midfielders short due to injuries and retirements - trade window opening and backs and forwards will be on the block for a premium young midfielder (as will my first rounder for next year).

Need back/forward/something else and a first round pick? Inquire within.

Hope Tyrone is OK. Was finding form.

    LES W
    Blicavs 5 - COS
    Maric 4 - DGD
    K Cornes 3 - DGD
    Hooker 2 - COS
    K Jack 1 - COS
