If Chels can handle 10:30pm on Saturday, I reckon that's what we should do; unless someone else comes out and says they definitely cannot have a drink/toast at that time. So, the proposal is 8:30pm AEST on Saturday. This is 6:30am in NYC; 10[span style='background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0); text-align: -webkit-left;]:30pm in NZ; 5:30pm in Bangkok; and 6:30pm in WA. [span style='background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0); text-align: -webkit-left;] [span style='background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0); text-align: -webkit-left;]What do you all think about that? <p style='text-align: -webkit-left;]An issue I can think of, which may or may not matter, is that it'll likely be in the middle of the 2nd quarter of the AFL games on. Maybe we could push it back 15 min or so to be during half time. I'm not sure whether this is important to anyone. <p style='text-align: -webkit-left;]Chels, I'm particularly keen to hear your thoughts on all this, as you're at the extreme East end of the time zones. [span style='background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0); text-align: -webkit-left;]
I'll be watching the game on TV. Currently, my TV and computer are in different rooms. So I can honestly say 'cheers' and raise a glass the half time break would be the go. Can we estimate within a couple of minutes when that will be - 1940hrs start + 2*30 minute quarters + 10 minutes for short break and over long quarters = 2050hrs AEST? Just before 11pm here fine by me, just hope TiB will around at least in spirit. Will we use this thread and post an anecdote or two? Then back to the footy after the long break - typically around 2110hrs here.
Sounds good to me So, the proposal is 8:50pm AEST on Saturday. This is 6:50am in NYC; 10[span style='background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0); text-align: -webkit-left;]:50pm in NZ; 5:50pm in Bangkok; and 6:50pm in WA. Will this work for everyone?
Timing works, hopefully will be able to get online, not usually a problem at Homebush but happens every now and then..
Perfect timing, just got a dozen Evans and Tate Margaret River Shiraz delivered and very keen to try one this Saturday night during the game. Will we chat on the TS chat?
I reckon the chat is a great idea. I can't guarantee I'll be able to get online at the time, tho I'll certainly have a toast. We're still waiting on about 4 people to let us know the time is ok.

[span style='color: #000000; background: #ffffff;]2. Street address? [span style='color: #000000; background: #ffffff;] [span style='color: #000000; background: #ffffff;]Tasting notes on an old favourite during the chat would be cool. Just might have to dive into the Margaret River section of the cellar myself!
Thanks Ant. This is great. Looking forward to the drink (of course) and the catch up. Oh, just to confirm - is the catchup on TS Chat or via this thread?

Evans & Tate Metricup Road Shiraz 2010 <p >Metricup Road is a famous and well worn road running between the two main north-south roads of the Margaret River region. It's where the Evans & Tate cellar door lives. This is a good medium-bodied red. Complexity is the name of the game here. Plums, cherries, pepper, twigs and spices. Some smoky reduction too. Tastes more cool climate than warm climate, though the core of fruit is generous and fully ripe. Something of a revolution going on at Evans & tate, I'm starting to think. The wines are in excellent shape. Rated : 92 Points Alcohol : 14.5% Price : $20 Closure : Screwcap Drink : 2015 - 2022
All this red wine discussion is a bit too much for a boy born in Melbourne's western suburbs. I think I'll just toast you all with a JB & Honey. And it's good for you as there are no additives and honey has many good health properties. Oh, also great work Ant, your passion shines through. 8.50pm on Saturday is good for me.
