You know, given your bad luck thus far this week its probably good that O'Meara has gone elsewhere. Would've been bloody awful. Hopefully he can get well and return some stage soon. For now, given O'Meara and Ross are LTIs I'm kinda happy I held onto Cornes and Cooney. They might be getting on a bit but hopefully they can still do the job. Hope you enjoyed watching Nic Nat, Andy. Just watched a bit of the game and he looks to be fit and flying

Saturday night update. Lovely Banks 837/11 Gariwerd 603/7 pretty even so far not one player has scored 100 yet for either team, but 9 of the 17 who have played have scored in the 90s.
Would like to say the same about the Misfits Moocows game, but at this early stage we are being ripped a new one..

For me to win something drastic needs to happen, as they say hindsight is 20/20, I should have had Saad on the ground and not Carlisle.

Dunn and Newton have done alright for me as ems as well. All the best Jen. It can still certainly go either way!

I understand your two club allegiance Len, but seven players in one game (5 GWS, 2 Saints)! Not sure I have ever seen that many representatives of an ORFFA sideafield at the same time. I see you could field nine GWS players in one game, but that does not seem likely shortish term
800 from 10 with 100+ from May on the emergencies, Newnes stinking it up and Coniglio for some reason a sub. Not the greatest start. Midfield line of Tyson (80), Armitage (70-something) and Coniglio (18) not exactly setting the world alight right now. Cooney barely passable either. Interesting times. The young midfield I've gathered up looks really good but with Coniglio suffering vest-itis, O'Meara and Ross injured for a while and a couple of others just struggling, thank goodness for a couple of old reliables in Rance and Betts, and Edwards' return up forward. And Snoz - your Grasshoppers are going to win a few this year. Brayshaw and Stringer looked the goods and you've got Sunshine McCarthy and Honeychurch pressing for action too. Reckon the Grasshoppers, Lefties and Lilacs are definitely going in the right direction. I know Jen is really happy with Langdon and Rampe, Heeney and Saad too. When she gets a couple of guys back on the park - Thompson and Grimes in particular - all of a sudden there's a bit of depth there.

I see you could field nine GWS players in one game, but that does not seem likely shortish term It's at least partially incidental, my focus for 3 years has been on early draft picks, they are the teams that mostly had them. Nine is possible, WHE only missed through injury and Williams was an emergency today.. Saying that the plan has always been to trade out some when their value has risen enough.

When Patty D joins them next year that will give me eight so I should be able to break some records in a game if I play against the right team haha
2015 has kicked off in the same manner as most of 2014 for the Battlers - too much left to too few. Five scores of 50 or less and another two under 65. Just thankful Treloar and Ebert went big or it would've been Melbourne Demons 2013-like. Barring some kind of Easter miracle, the Wombats should post a first up win on the road.

This year, it is Melbourne and Adelaide, with 4 players on each. They play in round 3, but unfortunately I'll be out bush that weekend and have no phone reception etc.

The Incorrigibles too strong for the Misfits this week. Misfits done at 1188 led by centuries for Rich and Whitfield, Waikikamoocow on 1139 with Harry Taylor and Dawson Simpson to come. McGovern, Hanneberry, Fyfe and Geary all topping the ton for Graeme.
Yeh, yeh, yeh...........not much changes does it. Sitting at about 12/867 with Jedi, Stratts & 1/2 a cock to go To boot, Rocky.....and his punctured lung. Nice. Next week is going to see one hell of a Rising Star team.

Big Dawson might not turn up and who knows with Harry T. Hope I am not tempting fate but it seems like that sort of round.
Round 1 and Darraweit already has 7-8 guys injured. Reckon this is the third year I've started the year with a stack of injuries. Cant understand - must be something in the water. Walker, McGlynn, Seedsman, Ross and O'Meara would all be in my starting team too. Vickery has also hurt a knee, Hampson has an ankle and Coniglio and Lyons vest-itis. I have depth, but this is getting ridiculous.
