Yay! Two down. I always get nervous when P'rap picks before me. And then it's New York, New York - no doubt sound asnoz.

He should be the number 1 ruck next season and has shown he is capable of 80+ scores already. Would have taken him earlier but needed a forward. Also I am thinking that in 2014, 2-3 of my rucks will be dual position forwards. If not they are trade chips.

Gawn has been played mostly up forward, but probably due in part to the absences of Dawes and Byrnes.

But I would say that still possibly qualifies him for R/F status, given he also gets 10+ hitouts per game? I also anticipate Vardy to be R/F, and possibly Bellchambers.

wow, there is a guy still available that I was considering taking at pick 18 of the MSD - my first pick this mid season. I was so close to selecting him as I desperately need a defender and I saw him as the best defender option, in terms of the stage of development he is at and how that fits into Gariwerd's plan, but then my better judgement prevailed and I decided to select who I considered the best option, regardless of position - and I chose Levi Casboult.... Then my next pick came around and he was still available, but I had to have a good look at all the other players on my shortlist and there was still a shit-tonne of defenders who I would be happy with and the other positions were starting to dwindle; so again, I decided to pick best available (IMO), and I chose Shaun McKernan.... Now I find myself with pick 5 in this here draft and a guy that I almost selected with my 1st round MSD pick still available! :)
