Majority is to many and may take to long, how about 3 or 5 coaches... ? And I second asking when are the exact dates.
spelling and grammar Fitzy. You might end a business leader or a politician if you do not get the basics right!
Rather than how many to approve, easier to survive a number of vetoes, ie 2 or more veto the trade fails? This allows it to work in a short time frame, if people don't care enough to approve you will never get a trade done, if they don't care enough to veto, or it is not an issue for them the trade passes.

Would be quicker and easier. Although I do think that it should be more than just 2 vetoes to cancel the trade. I've got no problem with half the league, as is stated in the rules; however I think 5 is a good number - one little snake - enough to make the veto legit (imo) and not too many in case enough people aren't online at the time.

I can't remember how long trades are open for critique and possible veto. Is it 2 days? If we did want trades to be completely finalised and ready for R12, and it is in fact a 2 day process for trades to be approved, then the trade period would have to finish on (or earlier than) Tuesday June 12th (as first r12 game starts on Thursday night 14/6). And I suppose that the trade period would start on or near Monday June 4th?
Hi guys - results and ladder etc will be up tonight sometime as things should start to ease off a bit at work for me now. Trade period starts at the conclusion of rnd 10, runs until say 1 hr before the bounce of rnd 12 to allow for admin type stuff. Trades have to be finalised before the start of mid year draft in rnd 13. Really the only reason I would be expecting anyone to veto if a coach is giving away players ridiculously because they are not interested anymore - this is why the rule was made in ORFFL. Perhaps a less cumbersome way to achieve the same effect would be for a designated committee of say 3 to be appointed to approve trades reasonably quickly. This would mean we don't have to take 2 days to approve them. What do people think of this?
OK, throwing a spanner in the works... are we allowed to trade players for next years draft picks EG: If I put Andrew Swallow up for grabs, but wanted a mid range player from this season and a 2nd round pick from next year's pre season, can we do that sort of stuff

I'm still having trouble logging into the ORFFA_Admin page and putting my team in. Could some one please post the correct log in and password, also the place to put the team in each week. Thanks
Hey bama - you don't need to log in as Admin. I already entered all your players before the season started. So you only need to enter your weekly team like so.... When you are logged in as yourself in TS, open this page in another tab: http://tooserious.net/ORFFA.php It will then become obvious what to do.
