I agree with pretty much all of this article, chels. If you dilute a solution too much, if generally becomes less efficacious, though requiring a larger receptacle to hold it. The same holds true with universities.
BTW - PR, I posted a breakdown of your score on the main page after doing some double checking. Still comes out at 976 - please let me know if you can find a mistake in it. You did get credited with 1/2 a Seb Tape from last week, if it makes it any better.
X, Tim's a good mate, had lunch with him today. There seems to be a lot of support for what he wrote behind the scenes but the public front finds the approach unacceptable. Usual problem with status quo - not the band H and TiB

greetings TiB, have a look at the article I suggested to X above (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10805890) it will make conversation with academics easy for the next month

I just remembereed that i hadnt mentioned it to you. Thanks Chels.
This rule is over in the ORFFL rules thread:
Squads of 26 players during competition. Cut down to 20 before 2013 Rookie Draft (date TBC).
I am wondering if we are going by this rule. Personally, I think delisting 6 players at seasons end is a bit excessive. What does everyone else think?

A lefty with a beautiful house, a half share in a vineyard in Wanaka, and a restored Morgan. Yet he still maintains his balance and recognises his roots. And, most importantly, is not afraid to argue for the oppressed.

Make Fidel the Vice Chancellor of U. Auckland and in the future NZ should do much better at Olympic boxing. Agree with a lot of it but suggest that removing UA totally from the government system is the first step. And, I guess it is a geographical reality, but one gets weary of Kiwis always comparing to something in Australia. Raise your vision, it is a big world and in many fields NZ do better in it than Australia. Also, surprised that, as an economist, there is little mention of what the market is asking for.

Quote from Xenomorph on June 20, 2012, 11:08 I hope so - Cuban chicks are HOT!
It comes as a perfectly natural occurrence to me that any full blooded male living at Mawson Base would express certain desires towards chicas that are hot, such as those that inhabit warmer climes like Cuba. Although slightly Freudian, it should come as no surprise that the very same full blooded male who spends the majority of his time with rocks, would also have certain inclinations towards somewhat softer objects. .
Do we all think Xeno needs to do the report on the game, I mean if we can get the results quicker and he can save time it would be great? Not sure if its needed and doubt he enjoys making the reports for 9 matches. Sure I do enjoy reading the reports but if it is easier for Xeno and we get the results faster then awesome So either way its a win-win. Just my opinion don't know what you all think.
I think that we are not getting the interactive experience we (I) expected at times, life's like that. Results themselves are easy to get, go here http://tooserious.net/ORFFA.php?ORFFL_Round=10 Change the 10 to whatever round you need, just be logged in on the admin account. I do think that perhaps X was not allowing for the amount of time he had to sink into this to keep it rolling, there has been more pauses than flows of late, but again, shit happens, that's this week, next week could be all different. What we do need week to week; More involvement from the participants, more discussion on teams, players and games. MUCH faster result posting, to facilitate above discussions Previews up before Friday each week. /2c
Thanks Lenh, got the results. I saw how the ORFFL did their trade week and will admit I was jealous at how much more intrested they all seem then some of us. But hey, we started later so I guess its OK... I'm just hoping everyone turns up for next year! Agree with your thoughts about helping X as well.
We have to get the results from the previous round up a lot quicker, the other league has there's up on Monday or Tuesday and a preview on Thursday or Friday. I don't think we need a preview and I don't even think we need a big review if time doesn't permit, but we do need to know the results and the ladder or this league is going to die a slow and agonising death. If I could log in to the ORFFA page I would get the results and put them up myself.
