Venus Bay v Tarwin Lower. Now that would be a local derby. Good to see a South Gippsland presence in the ORFFA. Keep the Vultures away from the Pigs Fitzy or no bacon for you.

Quote from Fitzy on April 26, 2012, 14:45 Alright awesome. Venus Bay Vulchers it is! Let me know if I'm in and when the draft is when you can Thanks
Nice to see another Eyre Peninsula/West Coast town/place enter the ORFFL spin-off league. Venus Bay is a lovely place full of nice sized, tasty KG Whiting along with the odd Snapper - just need to watch out for the Great Whites that frequent the area thanks to their fondness of seals which are also plentiful in the area. One word of warning though Fitzy, any ORFFA teams visiting your home ground will expect mountainous seafood platters being put on at the post-game functions - with the current price of quality fresh South Oz seafood, it's best to take on board some of the local commercial fishermen as club sponsors to ensure you can cater for the voracious appetites of said visiting teams!!!
I concur with Kel unless the ORFFA can work out how to draft quickly through deadlocks, they will be waiting until round 11 to start. I'd suggest round 8 will probably be pushing it, but who knows what this new group of committed punters are able to accomplish. I mean, an association formed in a day? What else is beyond them?

Here is your sequence: 1. 12 2. 15 3. 8 4. 14 5. 10 6. 3 7. 2 8. 1 9. 7 10. 9 11. 11 12. 18 13. 4 14. 13 15. 6 16. 17 17. 16 18. 5 Timestamp: 2012-04-26 05:06:12 UTC Random draft order generation. Reverses each round so: if you are team 12 you will have pick 18 in the first round, then 19 in the second round and so on and so forth right up until rnd 26.

Quote from TerryinBangkok on April 26, 2012, 12:58 That other mob already have a Mount Buggery team. Pretty disappointing though they are. Do some homework. Does "FarKew" qualify as a place? Don't particularly fancy the urban idea. Australia is a big place.

Quote from walesy on April 26, 2012, 13:19 Ah, the fudgenuts. Our arch nemesis. Winning year in year out in the Mount Buggery Regional League (MBRL), with their rugged good looks, pearly smile and immaculate work on the footy field, it was only a matter of time til they moved on to bigger and better things. Funny story by the way, when accepting entries into the ORRFL, it was quite strange that the Fudgenuts representative never made it to ORRFL HQ with their entry form. Seems that, for some reason, while on the way to HQ, he decided, probably a little stressed from the whole thing, that it would be a good time to take a break, roll his car into a lake and spend the next week in a relaxation hogtie a couple of clicks off the Hume. Strange fellow that one.
Given our distaste for the other, dare I say it, inferior team in the MBRL. The MBFC executive committee have made a decision to up stumps and move to an area previously thought to be the denizens of charlatans, cut throats and snake oil distributors. However the region of Black Charlie's Opening has indeed proven ripe for the pickings, and with some careful list management, the application of beer tinted eyewear and a liberal application of lubricant, the Black Charlie's Opening Spelunkers have been formed, and wish to submit an amended application to the ORRFA for admission to the competition.
Actually Bandit with some pause for mature reflection that is probably not appropriate. I appreciate that you are trying to work the whole rectal angle thing, but you need to be a bit more subtle. If we didn't have to identify Charlie's colour it might get home.
You guys have it easy to pick a solid side, all the hard work is already done and you can pick best players that are in form! No excuses for having non playing players in your squads... Altohugh will be interesting when and if someone snaps up the injured guys for the future. eg Gray, Ball. Even Carrazzo who is out for while..
Sent me a message this morning before school confirming his interest, and I've sent him a text to give me a call when he can. Not sure what time he gets out though.
