Chris - we will either have a 2 week trade period during the byes if we don't play during them or have a briefer one around that time (if we do play through the byes). We are still officially within the pre-season trade period until lock out tonight. (though practically say 17:00 to allow for admin changes etc.)
So Xeno - Andy and I want to do a trade - do we have to notify anyone or tell you - or can we just edit our selected teams through the admin?
Ok - so everyone knows - Andy and I have discussed a trade (discussed it through the draft period) and we've both agreed to it. I am trading Dan Cross (MID) to Andy for Andrew Walker (FWD). Mainly for reasons of team balance on both sides. Gives me an extra forward, gives Andy an extra mid. I don't know the processes for ratifying said trade - but if there are no objections or vetoes, we intend on processing it through before the start of the round tonight (during pre-season trade period)
Really should be approved by a majority of the rest of the coaches Chris. Why don't you post it in the draft thread and unless someone seriously objects by lock out we shall assume that a majority of coaches approve?
Going by the ORFFL rules, there is a certain trade period....and all trades have to be approved by a majority.
<blockquote>Quote from walesy on May 11, 2012, 10:39 Terry, remind me to slap you! I wondered about all those people trying to sneak in 3 on their benches. Team entry was seamless, thank you inspired leader. The only minor difficulty I encountered was that it would not let me enter Rebecca as my ruck. Knowing we were short she kindly volunteered and said she would enjoy tapping it down to Chris. Alas, it seems the ORFFA Rules and Constitution Committee won't give her a run. Something about a deliberate distraction to opposition players. . <img src="http://tooserious.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/8c009-FishSlap.jpg" /> Chels very kindly offered to slap me on your behalf walesy, so consider it done.
Now, where all the action happens: http://tooserious.net/ORFFA.php Bookmark that link or something. If you view it as the ORFFL_Admin, you get to see everyone's selected team, along with their scoring totals. If you view that page, logged into your account, you get the chance to submit your team. So you might want to jump in there now. </blockquote> I must have missed something (again!). I go to the page http://tooserious.net/ORFFA.php as chels and there is a set of entry points to put my team in. However, they are empty and I cannot fill them. Is there a problem with the upload of my team. Similarly, I cannot see the other teams. Sorry to keep keeping you busy Walesy. I had better add something useful here. The penultimate line on this page appears to have a typo - bargins?
Okay so once your team is in via the Stats page then we just post our starting line up here then? How does the system know which players to score walesy? Far Kew Frogs Starting Line Up DEF: Grimes Hargrave Doughty Mattner EMG: Adcock (inj) MID: Swan (C) Thompson (VC) Brennan Duncan EMG: Bird RUC: McIntosh FWD: Chapman WhiteX Ballantyne K. Bradley EMG: Hams (susp) I/C: Wellingham McCarthy Already suffering from injuries with top defender Adcock doing his usual injury prone show. Hams getting suspended doesn't help either. May leave the door ajar for the Nuffers now..... Realise I need a lot of players to get back into their respective sides quick smart....Winderlich and Green need to break back in.
Nick there is a link in this thread to a special page of TS that you can put your side for this week into.
X, as per my message above, when I go to http://tooserious.net/ORFFA.php I am unable to enter anything in the drop down menus
Chels, from what I can tell, there are no players allocated against your team in the ORFFA_Admin account! You need to log in as ORFFA_Admin and allocate your players through the stats page.
