I'm not very good with concept Terry, I don't feel I should argue strategy, though happy to point out missed injuries etc. Most people there put up pretty good sides and whilst I might disagree with their strategy it doesn't make me right. I do keep checking but haven't had much to say ;) In the same boat Len. Some great teams being posted and equally good advice/suggestions in reply. Although I reckon I know a thing or two about AFL, my deplorable SC record serves as a constant reminder that I am no prophet. oh, btw great work on the ruck analysis Terry. I keep switching between Sauce and Lobbe as R1, in the end I may just throw caution and go Hickey/Sandi (foreplay on the beach). conservatism has failed me to date

Just one observation on anything you see glaring. That's all that is required. Wave the ORFFA flag then get the hell outa there.

TiB......My team: I only had about 50k left I think with that team. Its so bloody fluid though but its about 75% done. Yes....the lack of DPP thru the Mids is glaring but just cant figure out yet how to solve it. Fwd rooks are bleh......I may just wait to closer to kick off & try to swing some changes. Just cant do Dixon. I loved him in his rookie season but not since. He has Rucks in front of him ( 3 of them?) and you can do just so much better in the fwds. Polec.....hate hearing that from you, you would know about Port. Shame.....can hold out hope for a few weeks.
Brings to mind the pronouncement of Snow White when she decided to leave Dopey behind on the day of the dwarves picnic in the woods: 'I did it in the interests of team balance'.

This looks like a side that is settled and is at the fine tuning stage. Ominous I would say. 3 Hawks in DEF. Mitchel, Birch and Suckling all had a big day out against Melbourne and I think Langford managed a goal. Birch looks ready to go, but if you were worried about too many Hawks, McKenzie would be a safe bet. Dunstan/Crouch should be everyone's bench. Solid. Toss up between Ellis and Sheed. I have gone off Jack Martin. No doubt he is a talent, but there are some good mid rookies much cheaper who look like they will get a run. Without such luxury I would take Martin. Forwards also strong, with just a dash of speculation. Coach is suggesting Impey likely to get a run after the win over Saints. Looks like Currie or Derickx at this stage. Haven't seen a report on the Norf game yet. As for George or Laidler, suggest it comes down to JS. Pretty much there Simon. Good side.
