updated as at the end of the Blues and Saints - again note the disclaimers as I am finding players whose scores aren't being picked up etc It looks like Drouin are well on the way to re-writing the ORFFF record books if their last 5 players can average 60 or thereabouts, while the 4 matches with differences in match to date averages under 10 points are the Western Derby between Walpole and Useless Loop, the battle a few hundred clicks NE at Mt Thirsty between the Boozers and the Whisky Drinkers, the Wedge Island vs Port Lincoln Washing Up Derby and also XXXX Derby where Chinchilla will need to dig deep in the last quarter to avoid back to back defeats.
updated after GWS and Swans match, again mistakes are likely but if correct then there are several closes ones Oliver for the Walpoles needs to play the game of his short career to outscore Sidebottom for the Virgins by 21 for the babes of the ORFFF to notch another win Treloar needs a 41 to give the Avengers a win Tom McDonald needs an 86 for the Butchers to prevail in the XXXX derby
Good work with the updates TTH - hopefully Walesy can incorporate it into tsLeagues Looks like Heard Island has scored their highest ever score, but it was nowhere near strong enough for the rampaging Drouin Dropbears! I think we may have ended up with the highest aggregate score at least.... and its also nice to go into the mid-season break on the back of my highest score whilst not jeopardising my draft position lol
well that sucks... shouldve tanked and got the decent draft pick i need/deserve... instead, too honest and will get a pick that doesnt help. thems are the brakes
Is there that big a difference between pick 5 and pick 9 in the MSD ?? Surely if you are close to the 8 it's better to make it than not make it particularly given 2 wins from 8th spot puts you in a prelim final ??
Drouin (@stowie) remain top of the ladder and firm favourites with the bookies after notching a mammoth ORFF record 1587 against Heard Island (@anthak) who comfortably topped their previous highest score but to no avail. An ORFFF Record 422 point win over Maralinga (@DamoH) has seen Black Swamp move into 3rd position at the Expense of Chinchilla (@choppers) who suffered their 2nd consecutive loss going down to the “too honest for their own good” Dingo Beach (@insider) by 7 points in the closest match of the round with Tom McDonald the hero/villain for the victors depending on how you view their win. Cockburn (@Len) kept up the pressure on the top 4 by winning their 7th of 8 against the Boozers (@leematty1) while Useless Loop’s (@jamabadar) 5th consecutive win over Walpole @Port-Leschenault) combined with Jan Juc’s (@thokash) loss to Neptune Island (@That KI Guy) saw the Virgins move up to 6th and remain a very sneaky top 4 chance. Other results were Rutherglen (@tyze1) comfortably beating Mole Creek (@ViQBoZ) and Wedge Island (@Bearfly) regretting their choice of emergencies with 51 points sitting on the bench in a 50 point loss to their arch rival Port Lincoln Power (@MrsBear). The ORFFF will resume in 3 weeks time following the midseason trading, delisting and drafting periods.
