Good luck to everyone for the first game back after the byes! Hopefully all your player moves pay off
Early update from the Noahs Fugitives match up as the underdogs the Fugitives strive to remain in the battle for the 8. Fugitives 480 / 4 / 120 Noahs 66 / 1 66
Sorry for the delay in getting my team in but here we go: D: Pittard, Savage, Docherty, Gwilt M: Dangerfield, Steven, Shuey, Scully (Mackay) R: Mumford F: Walker (ADE), Walters, Wright, Pavlich (Lobb) I: Duncan, Lloyd (RIC) (Sheppard)
3/4 time, and potentially incorrect score update, the Atoms 9/624 @ 69 slightly behind the Avengers 10/769 @77 Atom's duck egg the difference atm
Some things don't change for the boozers. Rischitelli does his knee in the first few minutes after recording zero stats. Uphill battle now playing one short.
The score check from Heard Island (@anthak) is that early in the 3rd quarter the visiting 29ers have edged ahead of the home side 10/902 to 8/682 (unofficial scores), after withstanding an opening quarter blitz of (almost) epic proportions. Black Swamp have BenBrown, S.D.Thompson, Cooney, JamesKelly and Newnes to come while the 7 Shags yet to play will be planning to take advantage of kicking to the Roaring 40s end in the final term to notch their 4th win for the year. (Ant - I am heading to the family shack shortly, so will be leaving any further match updates to your good self or be hanging out for tonight's site lockout to be completed)
I feel for you mate - the same thing happened to me with Dane Swan in Round 1, @walesy had some scoring issues because of the zero, so it may be best do a quick check after the match to make sure everything calculates correctly
The boozers are about 220 down with Petrie Goddard and Fantasia vs Jan jucs lecras to come. Another narrow loss coming up. Oh wouldn't it be nice to have clokes 115 sitting on the bench counting instead of rischitellis big fat zero
New Ducks recruit Ablett did not fair much better unfortunately for the fans who came out to see him, although certainly scored more than 0.
In a record breaking clash the Fugitives have belted out 1553 in an upset over the Noahs who managed a respectable 1368. This match looks likely to have claimed the highest aggregate score and highest individual score in the FF. 1600+ was on the cards had Ceglar got the nod over Roughead The Fugitives still need results to go their way if they are to sneak into the 8 having won their last 3 after dropping to 3 and 7
Hey y'all, @YAD69 will now be taking over Useless Loop permanently http://tooserious.net/forum/threads/orfff-2016-mid-season-draft.89547/page-7#post-177984 Thanks to @JPK for filling in for the last couple of weeks.
looks like Cloke's score has been added and it has changed the result of the game. That will need to be changed. @TheTassieHawk do you remember what happened in round 1? @walesy
The Mole Creek GM flew back into the country just in time for his team's rousing win over Dingo Beach, but sadly due to jet lag slept through most of it!
Rutherglen (@tyze1) scored the 2nd highest score in ORFFF history as they notched an important Round 13 win over Neptune Island (@That KI Guy) 1563-1378, with the match breaking the ORFFF aggregate record by 1 point. Mole Creek (@ViQBoZ) and Chinchilla (@choppers) managed less impressive victories against Dingo Beach (@insider) and Walpole (@port_leschenault) in the rounds lowest scoring matches. Wedge Island (@Bearfly) were surprise 17 point winners over Useless Loop (@JPK, @YAD69) in the weeks tightest matchup while Drouin (@stowie) and Cockburn (@Len) dispatched Port Lincoln (@MrsBear) and Maralinga (@DamoH) in the weeks 2 blowout victories, with the losers finals hopes all but extinguished they are now able to turn their sights to shaping this years top 4 and top 8. In the remaining matches Black Swamp and Jan Juc (@thokash) accounted for Heard Island (@anthak) and Mt Thirsty (@leematty1) respectively.
May I also offer congratulations to the Dropbears Patrick Dangerfield - who has so far proven to be a canny pick as #1 in the ORFFF inaugural draft - as the Drouin midfield maestro collected 4 ORFFF Best and Fairest votes in Round 13 action to move 11 votes clear of Gary Ablett Jr with 2 rounds to go and take out the award. @anthak - do we have a name for this thing ?? (my suggestion is the Patrick Dangerfield Medal) Best and Fairest Interest now lies in the minor placings, highest placing defender (Shaw leading), highest placing ruck (battle between Goldy and Gawn) and highest placing forward (Merrett leading).
