The new Boozers lineup have hit the ground running. 13-1249 av 94 with birchalls 69 being the lowest contributor. If I read the match day teams correctly I have the white pointers at 8-673 av 84
I would say you'd be right mate - not even looking at my ORFFF or ORFFL progressive scores because I know there will be a sorry tale told if I do
The 29ers have managed to post 14/1153, with Skipper Joel Selwood set to hit the field this evening we are needing him to bring his A game so that we can finish 1275 plus first up.
Mole Creek all done for 999 by my count. Solid hammering coming up and the lowest score ever for the team.
On my very loose scoring I believe the below is true JJD 1069/13 vs DBB 1073/13 Lachie Hendo + Hawkins vs Stephen Hill + Pearce
The new look boozers start of with a win. 1403-1201 over the white pointers my calcs show. Solid team effort with a 69 the lowest score.
Fugitives - Woylies Match Report The Woylies have overrun a disappointing Fugitives outfit in their Round 1 encounters taking out the contest 1329 - 1180 The Fugitives lead early thanks to Cotchin, Pendlebury & Macrae however after this the Woylies took control with Heppel, Merrett, Yeo and Oliver all dominating. The Woylies after just the one victory last year have a sense of purpose in 2017. For the Fugitives some horrendous outings with Rioli on debut struggling and was joined by our entire defence who combined for a poultry 223 points. Lewis, Martin and Cotchin were all excellent on debut but the load was spread to thin as a more consistent Woylies kicked off 2017 with a bang. The Woylies will look at another scalp next week against the Noahs while the Fugitives will look to make amends against Port Lincoln
Looks like Dingo Beach just pipped the Ducks by 7 points. Really came down to the scaling in the last match! Good to be back, Ablett finally played his first full game for the club. Not sure what Hannebery's excuse was. Top of the ladder Useless Loop this week, really don't want to be Owen 2.
Round 1 of season 2 of the ORFFF competition has thrown up some early surprises with the bottom 4 in 2016 all opening their campaigns with wins and the 3 WA teams starting impressively to sit 1, 2 and 3. The Grand Final Replay saw the Noahs (@That KI Guy) prevail by 106 points to notch their 3rd consecutive win over their arch rivals from Drouin (@stowie) and their defence was particularly impressive in holding the Dropbears to the lowest tally in their history. Dingo Beach provided first up success for @Dale Duivesteyn in recording a thrilling 7 point win away to Jan Juc (@thokash), with the margin matching their lowest ever but also being their 4th by 21 points or less in only 16 games. By contrast all the other matches were decided by triple figures. Last seasons wooden spooner Walpole (@port_leschenault) managed their highest ever score in notching their 2nd ever win while their opponents from Rutherglen (@tyze1) managed their lowest ever score and copped their largest ever loss in the 149 point Woylies victory. Despite this setback the Fugitives still have the competitions highest lowest ever score, and lowest highest ever loss amongst the 16 teams. Mole Creek (@ViQBoZ) and Macquarie Island (@Darran) were other teams to record lowest ever scores in their 301 and 187 point losses to fellow 2016 finalists Black Swamp and Cockburn (@Len) respectively. The Glow-worms and 29ers match was a low scoring slugfest, ranking as the 10th lowest ever aggregate ORFFF score, with the northerners once again prevailing in the annual Tassie Tussle matchup. Useless Loop (@YAD69) and Mt Thirsty (@leematty1) posted the only 1400 plus scores for the week in easily accounting for Maralinga (@Brett Sanders) and Wedge Island (@Bearfly) respectively. In the final match Heard Island (@anthak) broke a 7 game losing streak in recording an impressive 115 point victory over the visiting Port Lincoln Power (@MrsBear).
