after wells 57, boozers are in pole position, although martin is towelling up rocky leading 75-34 at half time.

fugitives down 47 with martin needing another similar half over rocky to get back into this contest.

The Virgins are 1,051/13 80.8 to the Dropbears on 970/11 88.2 8/9th through the game

Is the slender lead for the Virgin's enough - Simpson & Casboult verses Doc, Lones, Wright & Lester.

The Power have completed their round on 1151 and have been defeated by the 29ers who sit on 12/1247 with Mayes, Plowman and Beams looking to extend the margin for the visitors in the weeks final match.

Strong 'points for' has you pretty much safe. Shags would have to beat you this week by 700odd to jump you

Six of the top 8 sides won in Round 14 with Rutherglen’s (@tyze1) defeat to Mt Thirsty (@leematty1) by 35 points in this weeks closest matchup seeing the Fugitives slide from 3rd to 7th following their 4th straight loss, while the Boozers win was enough to seal the 2017 minor premiership. The battle for the last finals spot sees Useless Loop (@YAD69), Maralinga (@Brett Sanders) and Heard Island (@anthak) in a 3 way battle to the death in the final week of the regular season after they lost to Drouin (@stowie), Jan Juc (@thokash) and Cockburn (@Len) respectively.

Walpole (@port_leschenault) secured 2nd spot, a 1-2 regular season WA finish and a home qualifying final with a regulation 142 point win over the White Pointers (@Bearfly) while the 29ers partied like it was 2016 as they notched a mammoth 376 point win against Port Lincoln (@MrsBear) by scoring a club record 1527 points, which has the ORFFF integrity unit investigating the 13th placed side’s pre-game sports supplements extremely closely.

Elsewhere - despite a strong effort against MacQuarie Island (@Darran) - Mole Creek (@ViQBoZ) secured the prized 1st pick in the 2018 PSD as their 13th loss for the season guaranteed a 16th placed finish, while Nangkita’s (@Dale Duivesteyn) 4-2 start for the season seems like a distant memory as they were defeated by the 2016 premiers Neptune Island (@That KI Guy), to make it 8 straight losses in the week’s final clash.

The media spotlight will rightly be placed on the teams occupying 3rd-6th places on the ladder heading into Round 15. Last season's minor premiers Drouin have flown so far under the radar this season it is not funny however they now sit 3rd and travel to face 2nd placed Walpole in the final week in what could be a preview of the first week of finals should they win. Jan Juc also have a double chance on the line as they face Port Lincoln next week, with a 319 points scored buffer over 5th placed MacQuarie Island.

The Whales must spring a major upset and knock off the Boozers if they are to keep their top 4 chances in the event Drouin, Jan Juc or both stumble at the final hurdle, while Neptune Island face Mole Creek with a 221 point deficit in points scored to Mac Island and will be sweating on the teams above them choking in unison if they are to Bradbury their way into the Qualifying finals.

The Fugitives remain a mathematical chance only of making top 4 if they can defeat the Shags, however the riverina side are sure to be focussed soley on turning around their prolonged form slump as they head into the elimination finals in a fortnight. Useless Loop take on the Avengers and a win will eliminate Heard Island and Maralinga while a loss opens the door for both sides who are almost neck and neck with the Atoms 26 points ahead on points scored as they prepare to face the Bucks in a SA derby in Round 15.

Amazing to go from bottom to second in a season. Chuffed. That third place battle is going to be hotly contested too, all those teams are on form and looking capable of winning a bye through to the prelim.

Who would have thought the top two teams this season were the bottom two for the majority of last season.
