Some poor performances and players just simple not showing up however on a positive note it show depth for the Virgin's with Wellingham & Schache stepping in. Well done to the Fugitives on a well deserved win.

Drouin (@stowie) and Rutherglen (@tyze1) posted the season’s highest scores to date (and 4th and 9th best all time) in accounting for Cockburn (@Len) and Useless Loop (@YAD69) in what were club record losses for the defeated sides. With the Dropbears just bettering last years’ 1488 against the Avengers @Len will be better off just assuming the foetal position the next time they take on @stowie’s mob. The Fugitives have moved into 2nd after posting a club record win and tighten their hold on a top 4 spot.

Also topping 1400 this week were top of the table Neptune Island (@That KI Guy) who posted their 9th straight ORFFF win after taking the 4 points over the Boozers (@leematty1). By contrast the Atoms (@BrettSanders) and Glow-Worms (@ViQBoZ) put on a display that could at best be described as insipid, with the Atoms prevailing 1136-1010 as Maralinga posted the 7th lowest ever winning score and Mole Creek notched up the 8th lowest ever ORFFF score which resulted in the 6th lowest ever aggregate ORFFF matchup.

Elsewhere the Woylies (@port_leschenault) dispatched the 29ers, the Ducks (@thokash) were too strong for the White Pointers (@Bearfly), the Whales (@darren) won their first home game against the Shags (@anthak) while the Bucks(@DaleDuivestyn) continue their surge out of the blocks with a victory over Port Lincoln (@MrsBear).

The ORFFF ladder continues to sort out this year’s wheat from the chaff as the Noahs stand alone undefeated with 2nd-7th on the ladder all now looking like strong finals chances. Conversely barring a sudden form surge the Glow-Worms look quite likely to secure this season’s MSD Pick 1 or 2 (having lost to three of the four 1-3 teams already) with games against Wedge Island (ORFFF Round 7) and Macquarie Island (ORFFF Round 14) currently seeming the most winnable of their 11 remaining home and away games.

Port Lincoln, Useless Loop, Mt Thirsty, Cockburn and Black Swamp were all defeated in the ORFFF* knockout comp, leaving Neptune Island, Rutherglen, Drouin and Jan Juc as the 4 ORFFF teams making it through to the Round of 16.
