Not sure how accurate those figures are @port_leschenault or even where you got them from - am pretty sure @MrsBear didn't select anyone 30 or over (if she did it would've only been 1 player which in no way would've pushed the average age of her squad up to 30.21)
Either its because I hate Port supporters and anyone on Islands (like Wedge and Heard as well) or I just didn't realise the s/sheet labels null ages that don't have a DOB as 116.11 years old. Revised:

my advice for all of the teams is to make hay while the sun shines against the Woylies in 2016 as they are going to be an improver each season and whether their domination commences this year, 2017 or 2018 is the only question in my mind
looks spot on now PL I haven't run the comparative numbers but I think it would be of value for someone to add a second column showing the average age of the current "best 20" for 2016 - ie D1 to D5, M1 to M8, F1 to F5 and R1 and R2 based on either 2015 averages or "predicted" 2016 averages - or players in their 3rd year or above since under 18 eligibility (ie those turning 21 or older) as either of these reflects a quite different measure of ageing to compare teams. In either case any teams which have a bunch of first choice oldies but have loaded up with 6 first year players who in the main may not replace them with any great scoring for 2-3 years would be hoisted up the ladder compared to those whose depth is spread from 18-25 year olds and are perhaps more likely to be in for sustained success (ignoring trading and future drafting for now).
You'd have to find them first, hear they're quite wily (taxi!) Will have to be due to crafty trading because the Woylies didn't get all their way during the draft and had to change strategies several times. Most inconvenient.

I dunno about this. It could happen with any players at any time. I dont think its a good precedent to set. Of course if people think we should, then we will, but it doesnt sit well with me.
