Sure he's done his knee, but this is a keeper league and no coach drafts a rookie for what they'll achieve in their debut year - right? On the other side of the equation here are a few names - <strong style='font-size: 14px;]Menzel[/b][span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;], <strong style='font-size: 14px;]Morabito[/b][span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;], <strong style='font-size: 14px;]Patton[/b][span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;]. Which is not to say that players (or even thoseexplicitly mentioned) don't, won't or can't come back from a serious knee injury(s) - look at <strong style='font-size: 14px;]Goddard[/b][span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;] and <strong style='font-size: 14px;]Malceski[/b][span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;] for two off the top of my head, just that it creates a measure of doubt in the minds of fantasy list managers.
<p style='background-color: #ffffff;]<strong style='font-size: 14px;]Stef Martin[/b][span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;] is another. We've just seen in the ORFFL a 93ppg RUC traded for a 109ppg MID. On that basis what is a 111ppg RUC worth on the open market? A <strong style='font-size: 14px;]Nat Fyfe[/b][span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;]? Yes, there are questions over whether or Martin will be Brisbane's first choice RUC this season, but there are similar doubts on Brisbane other choice in <strong style='font-size: 14px;]Leuenberger[/b][span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;]. ORFFL-wise I don't see the big man last beyond Jimcumbilly with the opportunity to handcuff him to theafore mentioned Leuenberger (and thenperhaps make some serious bank on trading out <strong style='font-size: 14px;]Nichols[/b][span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;]). The complication to this of course is that Coulta have the pick before them and a RUC combo of <strong style='font-size: 14px;]West[/b][span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;] and <strong style='font-size: 14px;]Redden[/b][span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;]. Hmmm. Let that sink in.
<p style='background-color: #ffffff;][span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;]And while not a player as such, the topic of drafting defenders this year will be&hellip;interesting. A sizeable majority of ORFFL teams this year have gone into this draft with less than 6 DEF's. And yet when you look at the draft pool for that position - before or after the delistments, it's as shallow as I've ever seen it. Well, actually not true. Their are plenty of names there, it's just that most of them have seen very little if any senior action and have the scores you'd imagine from that amount of game time. It's my prediction there'll be a <em style='font-size: 14px;]second round rush[span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;] on this position and plenty of speculative late round <strong style='font-size: 14px;]Jackson Allen[/b][span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;]-types being selected.
<p style='background-color: #ffffff;][span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;]But enough from me, it's over to you guys. Who do you like in the draft? Why do you like them? Where are you thinking of picking them?

  Ran a solo ruck for about a year and a half at Darraweit Guim - with Mullet Maric the man.
  
  The main thing was I also (like your mob) have Ty Vickery, who would benefit in some way if Maric is out - even if you played Vickery in the ruck but out of position it is better than nothing.
  
  Luckily now I've got Maric and Nic Nat - so we are no longer ruck challenged, nor challenged in the hair department either.

  - Bastinac. Solid pick and a good way to farewell fill-in drafter, Chris88. Jade Rawlings would be proud of you.
  - Biggs. Isn't this guy a mid only?
  - Marchbank. Safe choice given the guy was an AFL Top10 pick. Reminds me of Waite, without the temperament issues. Great mark, horrendous back issues.
  - Ellis, Corey. Another big slider from the real. Question is, given his limited pre-season this year, will he be still on the Coulta list this time next year?
  - McKenzie, Daniel. Jimcumbilly have the room for him to grow. Obviously I have no idea whether he will or not. Could do worse.
  - Gardiner. Case in point. Aren't a lot of KPD whose scores are worth their/your while. Don't see this guy being one of them.
  - Blakely. Future machine of football domination. Crying shame to see him in yellow.
  - Pearce, Clancee. Wiggum looking good with a full(ish) pre-season this year. Nice selection but the Sankes may want to think about picking a midfielder now.
  - Melksham. Before the draft I had this team rated as 3rd for 2015 and a growing ORFFL power. Now with Libba going down and the bizarre drafting of Colyer in the 2nd and re-drafting of MelkshamWasABadChoice I'm beginning to wonder what I ever saw in this outfit and it's erstwhile West Australian coach. I'm downgrading them to a DON'T BUY.
  - Young, Clinton. Took the Ray injury well I thought, but then picked up Clinton Young. Xavier Ellis was a better pick the round before.
  - Clark, Mitchellius. Love it. Thought he'd figure a lot higher yet there's a lot of FWD's in the pool this year. Tidy work.
  - Langford, Kyle. Despite him being at ESS think the kid will turn out to be a quality HBFer in years to come. Quality choice particularly for what this team needs.
  - Larid. Yeah, I don't mind this player. Think he has scope to improve his numbers and a lot of time to do it in. Always helps if you're playing regularly.
  - Black. Don't know why the guy was delisted in the first place. Poor season last year, but a genuine talent in my eyes.
  - Simpson. Out Vardy, In Simpson.
  - Bewick. 25 and never averaged more than 65. Don't see it.
  - Stewart, James. WHO?
  - Hampson. Funny because he was drafted the pick before a BUN double play. Also funny because Shaun Hampson.

  CD always seem to be a year behind when it comes to player position classifications, especially ones they haven't jizzed over in juniors.

  It all depends on how you rate people. I'd personally have him well done the order. I think the best FA ruck taken is a 'rabbit now though. Pickings are slim but there's a few 2nd /3rd in line guys left
