Part of the challenge in this league with smaller list sizes, forces a different list management style and the difference provides interesting comparisons for me. Been very enjoyable though I've felt a couple of times I got a win simply because the oppo team had rolled, happens I guess, just bummed I haven't tanked to better draft picks
I think the list sizes here provide a better balance and helps create a balance of how many kids you have that wont play football for 3-4 years. Can't just horde, or you can and you get donuts and large headaches at culling time. (Acres & Connor)
Agreed, wasn't being critical at all, it's an interesting aspect for vs the other leagues, different frame for the list
Not great for the Potoroos this week with Brown and Wood both going down early to injuries. But hey, Luke Ryan sure can play this SC game!
9/699 HDH v 10/769 QUE. Tagged/Shirtfronted Garlett out of the game but let 2 of theirs run wild and be in the top 3 for the round so far? Almost had the upset wrapped up! That Neale/Macrae combo, wowee. Dont think it will matter anyway. Can't trust mountain folk to do anything. Got to scale 200 points back with only 1 player in hand. 11/853 v 12/1090. Insurmountable. Cloke actually turning up? Height of ridiculousness. Buggered up our end of year plans that's for sure. In the other finals contender match, which is 13v13, possible new ORF concept ala T20 cricket, Glenrowan likely to win unless Boak and Hartlett can make up the 101 point difference against Brodie Smith.
Looks like I have avoided the Hornsy curse, Potoroos coming home with a wet sail despite a couple of injuries
Won the Ellis battle 74-65 but lost the war. Was never going to make it anyway but its now official, no chance of a back to back premiership this year. The ORFFL will have a new champ. Yikes those Hammerheads look good. Hitting scary form at the right end of season. Back of pack smokey.
Get Cloked! That kind of sterling form though won't hold for us! Feels like the team is patched together with Sticky tape this year, just scraping by
Yeah, you scraped by like Cleveland hobbling to the Eastern Conference Playoffs... Finals thread up everyone. Decide the fixtures there. http://tooserious.net/forum/threads/orffl-2017-finals.89984/#XWIeuDXZatFQ0igS.97
