Ah whoops. Thanks for the pickup. Yeah, wouldn't have checked the round filter when I did it all yesterday. The players on our teams should all be accurate though?

I'll update it sometime during the day.

Think so, although I didn't do a full check.

Fez has come in late with his delistments - do we accept them?

Ok, sheet updated so should be correct and Bandits added back in the draft.

I think the light is amber, I totally floor the gas at that point, much closer to green than red.
No red light cameras either, you'd have go for it :p

Since we accepted his delistments, we're waiting for @Fez, (and then @Johnson next) to make first pick.

Has until 3pm tomorrow since we're now on the clock

Fair enough, my initial comment, since edited, questioned the long term benefits of accepting late applications from the inactive/barely active.

I feel as though if people can't be arsed enough to spend as much time on this as they would on an average SC side they should be questioning if this is a game for them, and if they genuinely feel that the other coaches should await their barely attentive pleasure..

Shame I edited it, wont do it again.

I'm in the US at the moment, so a bit out of sync time wise with everyone

Not to be cruel, but if Fez doesn't take his pick by 3pm I'm for just dropping him from the draft instead of giving him an auto selection given his late delistings.

@Len bring more honesty, I'd hope we are all mature enough to be able to handle it. And for what it's worth I agree with you, everyone is just a bit gun shy because last time someone missed the delisting deadline we said it was too late and they left the competition.

Ah. Traffic lights bit was too David Lynch for me.

Whether we allow late delistments or not, isn't really a decision that we should make with the persons draft position in mind. Either do/don't irrelevant to that. When putting other factors in play then the danger is personal objectives of others come into it. I'm a coach with an early pick too, so does affect me, which is why try to avoid bias decision, throw it out to everyone.

There wasn't exactly a rush to debate the issue before draft started. The only response to letting in Fez' delistments was from Jason (and you liking his post). If I was to make a snap decision it was to always allow because that was what happened before. We allowed people the previous night to make their delistments to do so as well. We did the same last draft too. So erred on the most accommodating decision.

This is a pretty laid-back league. Auto-filled teams each week. We have an awol Commie. A bunch of rules put down that are seemingly forgotten, languishing in a filing cabinet hidden in a basement of an unused warehouse. Fairly forgiving with things like deadlines.

It's annoying that we've done this and now Fez has gone away again which isn't exactly a nice way to repay the allowances made. This is a small-time fantasy draft league. It's not really important in the scheme of things. People do have to be motivated to play. If they're too busy or lose interest, that's fine - move on. There's only so much babysitting that can be done.

If the foot comes down on decisions made after all this, then there's no really case for anyone being treated unfairly. There's really very little time commitment to play.

Anyway, we instituted the 12hr rule last draft after the circumstances last time, so thankfully that means at least this time things wont stall as much as before.

Are we excluding Fez from the draft or giving him Pedo?

If you need a stand in, let me know.
Prob not of great benefit for the sake of 2 (soon to be 1) picks.

Keen to get this moving. So, Milikapiti select Hugh Greenwood with the No.2 selection in the 2017 PSD. Over to you Jackrabbits.
