I see Richards as a Shaw-type (hopefully without the dickhead tendencies) of rebounding defender rather than a Rohan-type of injury prone less-than-10-possessions-a-game winger-cum-forward.
I'm going to go with yes and post anyway. Queenstown trade 2019 2nd round PSD pick and Braydon Preuss to Warburton in exchange for Matthew Kreuzer.
Warburton confirm the trade and also announcing that Mark Murphy, Travis Boak and Shaun Higgins are very available for trade . Looking for younger defenders or 2019 draft picks.
Warburton are sad to see Inaugural Wanderer Matthew Kreuzer leave but wish him well in his future with Queenstown. He was a valued member of Warburton in its all too short glory days. We have a mancrush on the big unit Preuss and are hopeful this love transfers to him getting a regular game at some time in the future hopefully at a time when we return to finals contention. We also had a smaller crush on Bernie Vince and which is why we redrafted him and Shaun Atley. Football is not just about winning but also entertainment and you have to keep the fans happy. LDU is the new messiah down Warburton Way. Here's hoping he delivers.
We were hoping Richards was in the shaw mode also but can see the rohan similarities and really hoping he eventually settles in to more of the former.
Nice assessment. Given the state of the list, a different draft strategy was required. While most coaches jumped on high draftees in the first round, many soon settled in to established players with their later picks. We decided to stick with youth all the way through, some of whom will likely not get a run this year, but their upside for the future is considerable. Confident there is the foundation for a future there, but it will be 2-3 seasons before it bears fruit. I just need to live that long. By the end of this season people will be asking Fritsch who? What am I offered for Masten?
Just back from a few days on Waiheke - if you ever come to Auckland it is a must do location. Vineyards, restaurants, beaches all under an hour from downtown Auckland. Have decided to bring forward the rebranding of the team formerly known as Smiths Beach Seagulls. The necessary resolutions to indulge my memories were proposed and passed on the ferry today. Henceforth the club will be known as Wonderland@TamaramaBeach (WTB? perhaps it should have been foreshore rather than beach). The Sydney based players (Buddy, Luke Parker, Phil Davis, Aiden Bonar) are right into the concept - they love everything Glamourama. With the Sydney rivalry round JLT game tonight, what better time to announce the change of name. Expect to see more Sydney players in the Glamas in the future. Oh, and an afl grannie featuring the local sides. For those interested in the background to the area may I suggest https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamarama,_New_South_Wales
Bringing the "Outer Regions" back to the Metro? Still not entirely clear on what the full name for the team is.
I am not sure Les's stats platform will cope with the @ symbol though I could be wrong, I know it doesn't cope with the ' one.
Yeah, I mean it's not "OR" but 'Tamarama' or 'Tamarama Beach' is fine, just need to know what else to put in. Is 'Wonderland' the nickname or 'Glamourama'?
