What happens with the finals from here? I'll upload them later just not sure does it now revert to highest v lowest or do people pick again?
From reading some previous year's threads, there have been a few changes to the methodology. From memory @EddieV has the choice of any of the other three semi-finalists - i.e, one of @Len , or @PhilArthur , or @graeme . The other preliminary final is then set by process of elimination. If EddieV does not make a pick in time, there is precedent for an independent(s) to choose his opponent to facilitate the match-up process. Any problems with this unilateral decision guys?
"Executive decision" - if @EddieV has not made contact by noon today Melbourne time, then the first of last weeks losers (@snoz @Iain @JMac @Gumby ) or @stripey who is on site can allocate the match-ups. Failing a definite decision by 7pm Melbourne time tonight the fixtures will be Warburton v Shark Bay ( @PhilArthur - both finishing order after 17 rounds and highest against lowest score last week) and glamas v Knightriders ( @Len ). Disclaimer - my side is involved in the penultimate match-ups. If anyone wishes to propose an alternate methodology - I am happy for you to take control. That then (hopefully) gives time to set the fixtures up.
@graeme they were the match ups I came up with too with whatever my system was . I am uploading that shortly.
Name the team how you want it in a thread and an admin will fix. The root cause is the floating fixture requires game times in the database from round 16 onwards to be set when the fixture is updated around round 11, this is not occurred so all games lock at midday on Saturday.

sorry guys I had some health issues so away from internet but just assumed the prelims worked as highest ranked vs lowest as thought that was the process.
Not sure who made changes to my playing side, but they did not follow my request. Somehow the sole change was Logan Morris (F) to the midfield. Odd.
