I did already apologise for holding things up but if it must be known then I was in the local emergency department for 10 hours with my 16 month old daughter and didn't have the foresight to check in on my fantasy draft at the time. I know how frustrating it is when things don't move as quickly as we want here but sometimes life just gets in the way.
Been there done that, mate. No need to apologise. Life happens. Just like every now and again this place lives up to its name. I hope your daughter is on the mend.
Thanks mate, they couldn't work out the source but the fever has subsided and now that it's well past her bedtime she's a bundle of energy again so I think she'll be fine.
I think all/most of the coaches in this game are pretty understanding of how difficult it can be to be online at specific times to take your picks, and certainly there is no expectation that coaches check-in when they are having to manage complex family/work issues and commitments. But I will reiterate my availability to other coaches that if you know you might not be available at your next pick, please feel free to DM me a few choices and I am happy to post your selection.
Same here, my 4yo son had surgery Monday so can empathize with you mate. Certainly no need to apologize, it’s just footy and don’t think anyone is pointing fingers. Glad your baby girl is ok mate

the draw is now uploaded for the newbies, go to TS Leagues, and pick ORFFL. There is a tab, enter my team for the round. This is where you pick your starting line up and emergencies. I feel only 3 emergencies can be selected, @Len is this right? Also, what are the lockout rules again?
POLICY ON THE RUN! The top up selections in the PSD will be taken back to back, ie whoever has the first pick in Round 7 will make 2 selections and be finished in the draft. This will speed things up significantly.
Correct on the emergencies, 4 lines available to have an emergency on, but you can only activate 3. Also one only per line, you can select 2 in the interface, but thesecond one can't be activated, so essentially, don't
The interface can be changed from 2 per line to 1, I just need confirmation from the commish in each comp that wants to do so and I can make an adjustment to the comp settings.
@stripey i think it makes sense to do this particularly with byes and such this season but having an emergency for each position seems a no brainer if available to us
That's different to TTH's sugestion, but I agree, and not just for this season, just more relevant this season. @stripey
I thought the point of going to squads of 28 was to cover the byes. Do we really need to increase squad size and add an extra emergency?
Personally it has never made much sense to me that we have an emergency slot we can’t use. Most seasons I find I’m struggling to field 15 fit players, let alone having emergency cover on all four positions.
My preference is to have an emergency selected for each of the 4 lines, the SC game made the same change and I'm supportive of following suit.
