1 game to go! The GLE vs TLP match is very much still alive SAR 1026/12 with Cheney, Sloane and Mundy to play QUE 1214/13 with Laird, and Thompson (ADE) to play GLE 1163/13 with B. Smith and Lynch (ADE) to play TLP 1233/14 with Lever to play MAL 1113/13 with Betts and Cameron to play HDH 1019/13 with Talia and Neale to play POP 1051/12 with JJ, Lyons and Collins to play SBS 1063/13 with Douglas and Weller to play
Live scores: GLE 1241 trailing TLP 1314. Lever is beating both B. Smith and Lynch by himself so this one looks done and dusted. Two massive upsets incoming.
QUE 1431 def SAR 1254 TLP 1329 def GLE 1293 MAL 1290 def HDH 1198 POP 1316 def SBS 1236 I think this means the matchups next week are MAL vs QUE POP vs TLP
How on earth does that happen. Top two falling first week of the finals. Unparalleled. Anything is possible!!!!
You can't roll over now. Still one more upset. 2 is always better than 1! #maths But er, depending on other factors, 3 is a bad number
When I was picking teams i struggled between tlp and hdh It was a oh they will probs be missing pendles and hogan and they will get Jacobs back, completely opposite and now I'm a loooooooooser
@3n4nsy after cheering on the quolls last weekend I now feel a bit like all the brexit supporters after the polls were counted.... I mean who saw that coming!!! Even as Nic Nat kicked the winning goal I thought order had been restored.... Bad luck to the savages and sad the season had to end so suddenly...
Not really sure why premierships is in inverted commas. Are you intimating that I did not win them fairly?* * I actually proposed giving myself a relative handicap before my campaign for the third one, but the majority shouted it down as unfair as they wanted to beat me on a level playing field.
"Premierships" was used for lack of a better word. Collection of Jars didn't really have the same ring to it.
I picked it. Quolls are probably one of the teams most effected by AFL opponents, and we had the best match-ups for a while going into that game. It isn't deliberate, but Queenstown is pretty much built for doing damage in finals. Lucky for Savages they didn't give themselves a handicap I guess.
I dunno, I consider Lycett scoring a 2 playing a full game to be something of a handicap. Well played though, BB.
I consider half my team to be a handicap, and wouldn't have helped that much if he did hit 100. Maybe if Boomer chipped in too though. Now I'm just waiting for the Quolls' inevitable 1000-point score this week.
