Full time at The Stadium with Bueng Kan defeating Eden 1263-1132. The game came alight in the final stanza with the Whalers throwing down the challenge in the midfield where evergreen Pendlebury had a day out with 147, followed closely by his partner in Crime, Crisp with 134, while Amon 118 and Payne 112 controlled their defence down back. However the Rats answered the challenge with Neal-Bullen 116 up forward and Duggan 106 down back doing their job, which left the midfield of Dawson 142 Wood 109 and L D-U 109 to secure the win. Blanchetown Bunyips 1300 def Hughenden Prairie Dogs 964 The Buynips hosted the Prairie Dogs on a fine sunny Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately for the visitors a few of their players were still hungover from the night before and some even failed to make it to the ground. It seems the Bunyip forwards and Dogs defenders decided to play a few silly drinking games on Saturday night as most of them produced ordinary scores. ROB (81) was glad to finally get a weak opponent (van Rooyen 33) after being dominated most of the year, hopefully he can continue and start posting some decent scores. Some decent scores in the Mids for the home side led by Horne-Francis (128) easily accounted for the Dogs with Morrison and S Berry both failing to get on the park. Round 9 Cow Bay 1,153 def Exmouth 652 In a highly anticipated showdown for the home crowd, the Cow Bay Crocs clashed with the Exmouth Anglers out at The Lagoon. The match unfolded with the Crocs asserting their dominance early on and maintaining their momentum throughout ultimately taking down the Anglers by 501 points. Rankine spearheaded the Crocs' forward line amassing 142 points and taking BOG honours. Andrew proved to be a force to be reckoned with in defence putting together a dominant inercepting display and scored 119 points. McGrath and Wilkie also stood tall in the defensive 50. McGrath's put together a 95 point effort while Wilkie's defensive efforts were instrumental in thwarting the Anglers' advances and scored 106 points. Despite facing a relentless onslaught from the Crocs, the Anglers displayed some resilience throughout the match. Macrae emerged as a standout performer for the Anglers showcasing his skills in midfield with a score of 93 points. Additionally, Rioli provided a glimmer of hope for the Anglers in the forward line contributing 102 points. @JPK After a gruelling road trip that had taken its toll on the playing group, the Buffaloes were happy to be back home and playing at The Crater. Unfortunately it seems as though that joy turned into complacency and the team turned in one of their worst performances of the year. Toby Greene (50), Darcy Parish (63) & Lachie Neale (79) were the worst offenders and would be coming under selection scrutiny if there was any pressure available to be applied. On a more positive note, the return of Ryan Burton (101) and Sam Switkowski (75) gave the locals some cheer but it was very few and far between. This lack of perfomance from Serengeti allowed the Prospectors to run riot and they took full advantage. Wines (157) led a midfield that did all the damage and even though there was little support from other areas of the field, he had midfield mates Serong (149) & Miller (122) that ensured it wouldn't matter. By the time the final siren sounded and put the home town fans out of their misery, Coolgardie had ran out comfortable winners and resigned the Buffaloes to a 3rd straight defeat. Progress score from The Stadium and the Blowies 8/719 lead a very lack lustre Bueng Kan 8/589.... The visitors have been well served down back with Naicos 105 and Bonner 100 stopping everything the home team could throw at them, while Dunkley and Steele (115 and 86) had complete control in the middle, although Dawson (107) was the lone hand for the Rats, while Miller (80) continued his fine season as a stop-gap Ruck... @Mick

@tyze1 Vikings 1174 def Bulls 1140 In the heart of Odin's Graveyard, where the spirits of fallen warriors whispered through the ancient stones, a great battle was about to commence. The Viking warband, fierce and determined, faced off against a formidable opponent: the bulls. These creatures, massive and powerful, were known for their strength and unyielding spirit. The Vikings, hailing from diverse corners of Scandinavia, were a fearsome sight. Clad in mail shirts and helmets, wielding swords, axes, and spears, they stood ready for battle. Their shields, adorned with intricate designs and runes, glinted in the pale light filtering through the misty sky. Each warrior embodied the traits of their ancestors—bravery, strength, and an unbreakable will to conquer. Across the battlefield, the bulls gathered. These creatures were not mere animals; they were fierce warriors in their own right. Their massive bodies, covered in thick, muscular hide, were topped with imposing horns. The bulls' leader, a colossal beast with horns that curved like the crescent moon, pawed at the ground, his eyes burning with defiance. Each bull exuded raw power and an indomitable spirit, their ranks tight and unyielding. As the battle began, the air was filled with the sounds of war cries and the clash of weapons. The Vikings advanced, their swords and axes cutting through the air with lethal precision. The bulls charged, their hooves thundering against the ground, their horns aimed to gore and trample. The Vikings fought with the ferocity of their ancestors, their weapons finding their mark with deadly accuracy. They moved with disciplined precision, their shields forming an impenetrable wall. The bulls, despite their strength, struggled against the coordinated onslaught of the Viking warriors. Each clash saw the bulls losing ground, their ranks thinning as the battle wore on. In the heart of the fray, the Viking chieftain, Petracca, faced off against the bull leader. Petracca, his iron blade gleaming with intricate patterns of beasts and runes, moved with the grace and power of a true warrior. The bull leader, massive and imposing, charged with a roar, his horns aimed to skewer the Viking chieftain. Petracca sidestepped the charge with a deftness that belied his size, bringing his sword down in a powerful arc. The blade bit deep into the bull's flank, sending the beast reeling. With a final, mighty thrust, Petracca drove his sword into the heart of the bull leader, ending the creature's reign. As their leader fell, the remaining bulls faltered. The Vikings pressed their advantage, their weapons cutting through the last of the bull warriors. The battlefield fell silent, the mist settling over the fallen. The Vikings stood victorious in Odin's Graveyard, their weapons stained with the blood of their foes. They had proven their strength and valor, emerging triumphant against a powerful enemy. The spirits of the fallen warriors whispered their approval, their presence a silent testament to the glory of the Viking victory. 3. Newcombe 136 2. Petracca 134 1. Heeney 118 Bigtap Nankervis
