Cheers for all the updates mate. It was looking like this match would go down to the wire but another injury with Peatling subbed out at the half has ended all hopes for the Blowflys this season. Too good this year mate. All the best for the rest of the finals!

Yeah, that was truly brutal. 220 to get with Kelly & Peatling to come was going to be an intense finish. Feels very odd to have injuries be the reason I win this week instead of the cause of my pain!

For what it's worth, if i hadve flipped the coin the other way with my 50/50 team selections, you still wouldve beaten me by 1 point!!

Blanchetown Bunyips 1422 Def King Island Monarchs 1345

The Bunyips have dodged a bullet against the fast finishing Monarchs. Taking a comfortable lead into the last quarter, some of the Monarchs tried to ruin the home teams advantage. Led by Richards (148), McKercher (118), Green (120) and even Kennedy for a 98 all played above their averages as they tried to spoil the home party. The 'Yips senior leadership group had to stand up in the dying minutes of the game led by Gawn (142), Dawson (146) and Dale (104).

Some under-performers for the Bunyips Keays (25), J Daicos (70), Houston (60) and Hardwick (52) will all be under the spotlight this week as that will not be good enough to win more finals matches.

Thanks for the match up @Tylo and a great season in 2025.

    BOG - Richards
    Dawson
    Rowell

So going through to the next round we have:
    1. Blanchetown @martyg
    2. Serengeti @wrightbrendan
    5. Staghorn Flat @tyze1
    8. Coolgardie

So @martyg no rush mate, but the biggest decision of your life coming up - who do you want to face in week 2 of the 2025 ORFFU Finals?

    Well, I won't take a day.

This week we will take on the fine men from Serengeti @wrightbrendan

Which leaves @tyze1 and @JPK to battle it out.

Well done mate, a great effort from your lads.
Unfortunately I couldn’t match the inform Prospectors.
The better team won on the day. Good luck for the rest of finals
