Poll - Delistment Rule

Discussion in 'ORFFU' started by JPK, Oct 22, 2018.

?

Should a player be able to be relisted?

  1. YES - he belongs to the club until the end of the delistment period, or until traded.

  2. NO - once delisted, that's it, finito, it's over, gone, you're outta here, nick off, don't come back

The question has been raised about delistments, and specifically about a coaches' ability to relist players.
This poll is simply to ask: after being delisted, should a player be able to be relisted, or once he is delisted that is final?

Looks like the majority of coaches don't want a player to be able to be relisted.

I'm happy that this is conclusive, and so will post an amendment to the official rules.

Anyone wishing to relist a delisted player this year will have until the end of the AFL draft to do so. From that point on, any delisted player can only be picked up again in a draft.
