You've still got another week to decide, but I would have Duigan well in front, with Puololo just ahead of Batchelor.

I haven't seen Nick Lower mentioned in this thread lately- Played with Duigan and Puololo last year at Norwood, finished second in the Magarey medal and he put in another good performance this past weekend. I know he's still rookie listed- and probably should look into Freo's list before commenting, but he sure does look like he could be a goer.

Thanks Walesy. Yeah I've thought about Lower as well. Just think the others mentioned are slighty ahead.

I get the impression out of the west that Lower is not in the best 22 or so. I'm hoping he may prove to be a downgrade option mid year.

Lower might get the Ibbo's spot.

I'm thinking yeah just out of the top 22. But 8 of the first 10 games and that's enough.

Lower would be a great POD in the backline benches, with many jumping on Poo and Duigan. Has been firmly on my watchlist for a long time.
The fact that he's played AFL footy before just adds to his appeal.

Once again it would be fantastic if somehow we could find out when teams have to upgrade their rookies by?

  7. I remember hearing somewhere that it was March 15 for list changes but I can't be 100% on that...

Nick - it is March 15th mate, buts that date for nominating for the season, up to two depending on how many veterans are on the existing list...the short term LTI fill-ins is a date I'm yet to find...

Good that's a week to get our act together, then we shall see who are actually promoted onto the senior lists.

That will take a lot of the guesswork out of calculations.

I can think Sydney (Malceski) would be one of the teams with a LTI option. Fremantle (Morabito/Ibbotson) have a few slots.

Morabito for Lower makes sense to me.

LTIs at the moment would likely be Nathan Brown (Coll), Morabito (Frem), Lobbe (Port), Campbell Heath (Syd), Malceski (Syd) and Hargrave (WB).

    So in a perfect world:

    Lower comes in for Ibbo.
    Irons comes in Lobbe.
And there's someone rookie listed for WBD that I want elevated but the name escapes me....

Don't think the Pies have elevated a rookie to cover Brown's injury yet so keep an eye on Jye Bolton. Has looked really sharp in the NAB plus Pendlebury has him in his SC squad.....

Is Markovic rookie listed? If so then yes.

Markovic is already on the senior list.

The rookie listed Bulldogs at the moment are Ed Barlow, Luke Dahlhaus, Mitch Hahn, Jason Johannissen, Mathew Panos and Eddie Prato.

I'd honestly be surprised if any of those guys were on your "hoping to be upgraded" watchlist.

Isn't Kee(e?)fe being promoted from the rookie list at Collingwood?

Any word on Faulks at Freo ? Mature age and we all know Freo's penchant for that style of player.

There was a bit of chatter about him when I setup SC team version 3.0.

I think Faulks' uninspiring NAB form has taken him off the radar a little bit...

This could possibly be the perfect group
    of DT defenders .....Thoughts !!!

    Goddard, Gibbs, Bruce, Deledio, Broughton,
    Grimes, Otten (Buckley, Markovic, Hibberd)

RMT (disjointed between threads or not) is generally held off until after the NAB Cup/Challenge is over.

Solid, cookie-cutter backs with Bruce as POD. Heppell I'd hope is in your mids if Hibberd's in your defence.
Also, couldn't find room for any GC defenders? Coad, Toy or Stanley?
