    Any love for Seaby? He was decent at the start of last season, any Sydney fans with a point of view?

    @gogonz

    Still, an injury during the preseason is never a good sign. Means he's 2 weeks behind the main group.

    I have decided to go for the Cox/Jolly combo. I used the money saved from not having Sandi in getting a 4th premium on my forward line as that does not look as ripe for upgrades as the midfield. Still got Smith & Keeffe as R3 & R4.

    I know what you mean.. but you know how many games he played in 2010??? The same he played in 2009. 22. And lets' face it, for a ruck man, that's pretty durable.

    @Hendy... Hard to tell. The sub rule really has made his life harder. As a apecialist ruck man, hard to se him being the main main before Mumford. Especially with Jessie White in the team. Maybe even Goodesy as a 3rd/relief ruck man.

    @gogonz, thanks!

    Rucks as per usual are seeming to be the hardest to pick. It's a race to the finish between Jamar, Jolly and Ryder. All of which dont really do anything for me, just cant justify spending the extra on Sandi.

    Which of those three do you think would increase there avg?

    @Hendy... Don't listen to me mate... I've got no idea. But since you asked, ;) Ryder will have the bye in grand final week of SC so that makes him a little less appealing (But I still have him). Jolly & Jamar are neck and neck as they're both going to play every game if available. Personally, I'd go Jamar as he's younger and looks to be coming into his peak, not heading out of it.

    Any advice on the following would be great:

    Option 1:
    R3 - Vickery
    R4 - Z Smith
    F9 - Darling

    Or

    Option 2:
    R3 - Z Smith
    R4 - Keeffe
    F9 - Prestia

    R1 and R2 are guns, either Sex on the Beach or Lady Gaga.
    Prestia has shown more than Darling, but perhaps its worth having the security of R3 in Vickery for byes and injuries? Any thoughts?

    Rhys Stanley has been tearing up the fitness testing and bench pressed a PB off 135kg last week at Sandringham. Playing practice match on 19th and is will come into consideration for the Saints in round 1.

    I reckon he will given Kosi isnt back until round 5 or 6 and Gardiner out til round 6-9... Lack of talls and ruckman mean we are nearly forced to play him. Id have him ahead of Archer if he's elevated still. Ill be down at Sandy on the 19th so can give a good report on how he looks.

    Nick - Sex on the Beach plus Option 2 for me, though I don't have Prestia. Worried that we haven't seen Zach yet...going on reputation alone.

    Nick option 2 is looking more like mine

    Not sure about my ruck setup, probably two premiums, but still flirting once again with Fraser at R2

    Can someone put me out of my misery here?

    Don't go there Lucas, he's old and hasn't set the world on fire or anything thereabouts.

    Remember the old mantra for the rucks - don't tinker there too much.

    Keeffe is looking like a viable lock for R4 now and cash saved here + cash saved from Chapman's departure opens the door for potentially Yarran.....Still a bit shy on him though, don't wan't to convince myself into a dodgey pick...however many signs point to it being a decent pick up....77 and 80 DT points from his two NAB Challenege games...

    Cheers for the feedback.

    Nick...and don't skimp on Sandi. He's still 7 feet tall and a gun.

    Agreed Corks. Have had him locked in for a while now, write him off at your peril is my line of thought.
    R2 was always the debate, but Cox has shown enough for me to create the notorious, all-conquering Sex On The Beach combo.

    Sandi was one of the first players I locked in this year. Leave him out at your own peril.

    @Lucas
    I've never been sold on Fraser, I think he will get smashed and bashed more than he will get worthwhile SC scores. You could be missing as much as 30ppg each week compared to Cox/Ryder at R2 if you go with Fraser. Then there is the likelihood of having to injury trade Fraser at some point in the season too, which seems to have been overlooked by some who are considering him.

    So the question from me to everyone is, if McIntosh and Hille have been the good midrange rucks in previous years, who is it this year?

    I reckon Warnock could be your mid range big improver. Strong uninterrupted pre season, good improving finish last year, agile and will get time to show his best and why he was taken by the Blues. Doesn't mind kicking a goal either. Reminds me of Sandi a few years ago.
