If I get bored enough tonight I plan on splitting this thread into two. One for the auctions and one for everything else, all this debate is disturbing the stallholders, and if that keeps up they wont pay rent :p Well, that's way too hard, lots of buttons and none of them marked with idiot appropriate warnings :) Lets just try to stick to selling in here until the end of this trade period, any discussion should be in another thread. (I have adjusted the opening thread to include some basic rules)

Given that I was flooded with offers for Michael Johnson I will take him off the market. Here is a wierd one... I am putting two of the following three players up in a package deal. The players are Greg Broughton (DEF, avg 76), Brock McLean (MID, avg 74) and Leigh Adams (FWD, avg 62). Adams probably the best value of the three due to his FWD status and the fact that his average is largely sub affected (he averaged 79 in 2013). I will even be visible about the reserve. A second round pick will see the deal done. Peripheral stuff and a lower pick will not. The better the draft pick, you win. The auction will last until Monday. Good value I think for someone who is looking for depth in their squad. This is tempting, very tempting, but I can't quite put up 22 for it. If I had a 30ish second rounder I would be locking in Broughton and Patch. Yeah, my thinking was very similar to this too. I realise it doesn't quite meet your suspected reserve... But I bid pick 77 for Broughton and Adams :)

Where have you been putting it? In the light of this revelation and comments from Manhattan, management wishes to reconsider it's position, demonstrate our true flexibility and keep everything in line with AFL policy. We do away with the trade period in its entirety and just have auctions.

Let me tidy my post up a bit then; I am auctioing one of Minson or Goldy. I have no real reserve in mind and am not 100% I will trade one of them unless the offer is too good to turn down. So far pick #2 in the PSD is leading over Matt Scharenberg. I like Scharenberg but he has had an awful injury run which has me wary. Has pick #2 met my reserve? TBH I am not even sure! lol I havent started scouting the PSD yet, so let me get onto that and I will get back to everyone! :) All other offers welcome, happy to take established FWD or D stars or highly rated youngsters. Any developments on the reserve here Jimbo? Also, when does this auction end? Yeah sorry for being so vague. My reserve is almost met, I am thinking that I will really require a playing warm body to have as a Ruck reserve AND something of high value (i.e. pick #2) So, if you can meet the playing ruck reserve requirement you will have met the reserve and Goldy shall be yours unless someone else can up the stakes and outdo you in the 11th hour. Auction to end Monday 5pm CST. Ok, auction on Hale has concluded with no bites. Therefore I will try this on for size... Hale and PSD pick 2 for Goldstein and PSD pick 72

Auction closed. Congrats to Grav. I will post the trade. Pretty surprised one of the leagues top 5 ruckmen drew only 2 bids.

I realise I was one of those two bidders, but I'll add that as soon as you specified you needed a ruck in return, I was out of it, cause I only have 1 ruck and I need him :)

    [span style='font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px;]Well done grav - good auction action. [span style='font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px;]
[span style='font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px;]Jimbo, you noted '[span style='color: #000000; background: #ffffff;]Pretty surprised one of the leagues top 5 ruckmen drew only 2 bids.' For what it is worth, one of the other top ruckmen (if not the top ruckman) drew a number of offers while your auction was running - bizarrely most were for less than the offer tabled on Goldy.

I'll bid Lachie Hunter. 19 or 20 year old M/F, averaged 65 in 16 games in his second year on the Dogs list. Unsure if that meets reserve, but it might get things rolling .... EDIT: If it doesn't meet reserve by itself, I'll put in pick 61 as well. Meanwhile, will this mean the top 5 draft picks in next years draft will be traded?

Thanks however reserve not met. I won't require any further picks, just one young midfielder. Will need to be a proven scorer of at least 85 I would say.

OK Prap - went more for a player that was perhaps too young but with more potential! I haven't got any mids in that age range that average 85ppg that I'm willing to trade, so I might have to bow out regrettably.
