Just can't work out Shinn - rides a ripper on a $20 winner in last at Wyong yesterday, then all but one of his rides today were absolute rubbish - Shawnee Girl the only exception where he almost rode her to perfection for rapidly closing 3rd in race 2!!!
He's never been the most consistent jockey, and was always prone to a shocker here or there. Fair to say his 12 month suspension last year hasn't helped improve that.

bit of news Sad News ...Top galloper Whobegotyou has died at his owner Laurence Eales's property near Sunbury in Victoria. The former Mark Kavanagh-trained galloper had 29 races for 10 wins and 14 placings for prizemoney earnings of $3,263,450. Jockey Michael Rodd says: "Very sad news about my old mate Whobe, was a great horse to me...He had an incredible turn of foot. R.I.P buddy."
Actually seen a later tweet on Twitter by Rodd saying he never thought he would be so affected by a horse's death as what he is feeling today!!! We've lost some good horses over the past 12 months - makes a true racing supporter appreciate our great horses even more!!!
