FWIW. After taking Bearfly's advice and concentrating on the tips from Neil Evans, I did a little research and have found that since 8th August, Neil has made 61 selections, some of which were value bets, some ranged from ***** bets down to ** bets.He has tipped 19 winners and 22 placegetters, with 20 unplaced tips. This equates to 67% of all tips have either won or run the place. I personally think that is a pretty good strike rate. Something to think about when spending your hard earned.

Yeah, it can be a battle sifting through tweets - I've got to the stage where I just search for @NeilEvansMail and go to his page as soon as I drag my sorry arse out of bed Saturday mornings. Will always make an effort to post his tips up here as early as possible though mate. As for 1Selection2Win, even he has admitted he had a shocker today - although I managed to make a good fist out of his quaddie selections (with a couple of my own thrown in for good measure) and scored the Sydney quaddie x 50% and Melbourne quaddie x 10%

Was a good win by Spurtastic, was my standout horse for that leg of the quaddie (managed to get the quaddie by half!!!) - just pissed that I had it on S/Tab not NSW tote (cost me almost $300)!!! @Hackers - should get to the 20 easily by Saturday mate. Already have 12 officially signed up with another 5 invites out there pending their registration. Have also trawled through this thread jotting down the names of everyone who voiced interest when I first floated the concept here a few months ago, that's another 11 people to whom I am about to fire off PM's to. sorry bout the wrong number jb. i usually bet multiples of 1 on win 5 on place that usually keeps you out of trouble unless you have a real bad run
using neils selections and betting 1 a win 5 a place outlay $48 return $41.20 so not great 1 more place getter and you'd be almost even. i also use win/place multi's as well usually only 2 horses sometimes more if i'm confident hope that helps
