<p style='color: #444444; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #fcfcfc;]Let's set the ground rules for RMT, nice and clear.
<p style='color: #444444; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #fcfcfc;]1. In order to get feedback on your own team, you must first provide feedback on the teams that have been recently posted. This is the golden rule and is what makes this whole thing work.
<p style='color: #444444; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #fcfcfc;]2. If you just post your team without giving any feedback, your post will be deleted.
<p style='color: #444444; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #fcfcfc;]3. Please refrain from commenting on teams that have been posted by others that have not followed the golden rule.
<p style='color: #444444; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #fcfcfc;]4. Keep it civil. Constructive criticism is fine. But there is a line and please don't cross it.
<p style='color: #444444; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #fcfcfc;]To kick things off, I'll put my current SC team up for discussion.

At least the 400k dud (e.g. Higgins) is going to score 75 for you, the 100k dud may only score 40 once or twice and then disappear.

For some reason thought Dusty avg was around 105 last year, so I can also see some improvement there

To me Missy is just as likely to disappear after a couple of games, given his history, and I can't justify the extra 300k for an extra 35 points a game. Could easily change by round 1 though

I read that this evening and thought same thing. Interesting. Only thing is it could reverse in season proper.

I've currently gots Lids, and I'll prob change him to Dusty.

The Freako report stated Missy's been playing forward, which I hadn't realised and which is far less appealing I think.
I think I'll be removing him from my team.

Mummy's problem is not his scoring.....in fact, he's a lock to score bloody well.

Its just his ability :) to miss games - over the last four years he has missed: 5 games, 3 games, 8 games, 5 games

The GAJ Conundrum......most teams have him in (above).

He hurt his shoulder 6 months ago. He has played no NAB games and had zero pre season. Now he has withdrawn from the last NAB game and is in doubt for Round 1 - well, I'd say he could be in doubt for longer than that but what do I know. 2 more weeks after 6 months and he's all set to go?
I doubt it. And then, being super priced......lets say he does come back Rd 2 - he has to knock out 130 a week from the get go, every week, with zero training.

Is this the year GAJ doesn't start in our teams?

Traditionally, I think he has scored most of his pts from hit outs. He doesn't usually get many disposals.
I think he may dip a bit in terms of SC scores, but even then, he's still a better option than most.

If it was any other player.

35 weeks out with a shoulder which is threatening his round 1.

What's to say 35 weeks doesn't become 38 weeks and an SC season ruined?

What's to say he doesn't take a few price-dropping games to get back into form?

Any other player, and it wouldn't be a discussion, it would be a red line.

So I can't see myself starting him this year.

But I'm certainly getting more nervous.

Yeah Steven is a big question mark for that exact reason.

Shaw will be worth the coin I reckon, but yeah smith still might be a little bit of an unknown.

      Cheers for the feedback

That's a good question. I would probably consider dropping some coin in the mids or def(Will be hard to in def) to up him to someone, not sure yet.

I think Big Boy could be a smoky this year, as I reckon he will kick more goals. from what I've seen in NAB has taken some good contested grabs too.

Yeah he's definitely one that I am umming and ahhing over. Though process would be to down hallahan and up him to a a premo then have 4 rookie priced players in the mid.

It's tough cos we know he could be elite just don't know how hard he is gonna be tagged.

Nic Nat is playing this week against freo so I can't see why he won't line up for round 1!

I guess at worst IF you didn't start him you:
A: Get that extra premium on ground (should he not play)
B: Roughly 100k extra to spend on other lines
C: Get to see what scores he gets when he does come back
D: Can still jump on him at his current price if he goes bananas when he comes back at anywhere between rounds 2-5

Anyone picking Krakouer in their team may need to rethink his selection now.
Not named in Port's final NAB match, so it appears Hinkley rates Impey higher.
Ken has always stated that the final NAB side will closely resemble his preferred round 1 team.
    18. Grizzles
      Grizzles
      But he is soooooo cheap!
    19. Bearfly
      Bearfly
Cheap is useless if he doesn't get a game!!!
No use being burnt like many were with Vesty Mitchell.

I would go as far as to say Krakouer will have some serious competition from the forgotten Sam Colquhoun who is set to have his comeback game in the SANFL trial game this week.
Ken loves the way young Sam plays and rates him as an elite disposal ahead of Krak from all reports.

Not sure I agree that NAB three is the be-all-and-end-all of selection for R1, but sure it's not a good sign.

Most clubs appear to be loading up NAB3 teams with the R1 squads, but 2 out of 3 NAB hitouts is all that most players would expect to participate in. Hence, missing NAB3 after playing 1 and 2 doesn't on it's own mean that R1 selection is out of the question.
