    @ Chris
I say go for it, could be a massive POD and at least you'll be happy having someone you like in your team that was your very own decision to live with. Same reason i've slipped Whitecross in this week.</blockquote>
BL, any reason why WhiteX is performing better this year? Is he likely to slip again when Hodge comes back?</blockquote>

I would say Sheils is more likely to take his points than Hodge, but he is part of the midfeild rotations now not just a lock down half forward. Looks to have taken the next step we have been waiting for this year.I would think his season may mirror Sheils in scoring last year or go better, i think he has better decision making and disposal than Sheils and has the stronger body and good pace. I'm happy for him to miss this week will make it easier to get him next week. But the less people that have him the better, he is also one of my favorite players so take this as you will.

    Out Broughton and Parker
    In Deledio and Milera
Smith goes to midfield and I pocket 100K

Didn't want to burn Parker, but had to go Broughton to Deledio before there was a 100K price differential.

Its interesting that noone is talking about Bower. I know his longer term JS is a little iffy, but an early moo-er at just 157K must have appeal to someone out there?

JS would have to be an issue with Duigan and Jamison due back soon...but I don't follow carlton that closey, someone else might be able to add more

Who does everyone think are the must-have forward rookies going into R3?

I think it's between Kennedy and Milera.

Kennedy has DPP and racks up heaps of the ball, but GWS are really struggling with poor DE and turnovers.
I'm not sold on Milera's JS and his scores are perhaps inflated with St kilda having fairly easy games.

I'm thinking Boumann out (Paine to back) ----> Kennedy or Milera In

Just can't decide on which one.
Boumann may well get games with gilham being 4 odd weeks away, and hawthorn not having key defenders, but after a poor round 1 score and missing round 2, he's a long way off moo-ing. Although Paine could be close to getting dropped too.
Rookies are definitely tough to sort out this year.

    Thoughts anyone?

Laidler said in an interview Jamison and Duigan back this week, that it would cause selection headaches.

Personally I see Jamison as a certain in if fit and Duigan maybe needing to go through the twos.

If both come in, you would think Bower will have to go, or find another role in the team (wing etc).

I'm certain Bower will moo, not sure about what coverage he will provide.

I think I will stay away from Bower.

OK - Round 3. Trade finger is itching.

    Current squad:

Goddard, Deledio, Shaw, Davis, Hargrave, Morris, Ellis, Smedts, Guthrie

Ablett, Selwood, Priddis, Magner, Coniglio, McDonald, Smith C, Smith D

    McEvoy, Leuenberger, Giles, Redden

Franklin, Cloke, Martin, Fyfe, Dangerfield, Porplyzia, Kennedy, Dickson, Saad

Seriously eyeballing Saad, Dickson & Coniglio for a trade out.

Am I the only guy holding Saad wondering why he isn't playing? Did I miss something?

Am thinking Broughton to Lake (already got Dempsey). Risky I know but obviously Adcock can spud it up and a sneaky sideways to someone like Hurn could be just as risky, Lake and the coin could be a goer ... if Lake is a keeper.

Folks, I'm looking for feedback on the following 2 trade combo for R3 fixup.
    Broughton >> Dempsey
    Yagmoor >> Lake
    And bank an extra &#36;52k

I would ask for thumbs, but haven't worked out how to include them! Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Yagmoor has to go, but not sure if I'm pulling the trigger too early on Broughton.

Saad - perhaps not good enough; injury affected preseason and now cannot get a gig.

@Wills - saad may as well go - but otherwise yr teams pretty good i reckon.
if you gots cash why not swap saad for DSmith and open up a mid for Tobias Greene?

And i think its pretty funny people are talking abt buying Lake now
    - last week everyone was pulling their hair out over him!

As for guys like Coniglio - people! back yr preseason judgement. coniglio's done nothing to suggest he wont be a fine player who will build scores and be a standard up and down rookie who you sell in 6wks time. dont waste trades. back your players long term.

Id trade my DSwan for Pendles now if i had the panics
but really i shld just back swan to play out the whole season. sometimes you make a small error but things pan out over time...

Saad didnt have any injuries during preseason, that was Milera! Think not quite good enough, doesnt do enough in other areas to sneak in. Afterall he is pretty much competing with Milne for spot at moment. Needs a second string to his bow...

Barlow's BE is 135. No need to rush him in this week.
