    Hi everyone,

One piece of business (other than the rule discussions) is re-commitment for next year.

Looking for a simple thumbs up on this post to say you are locked in as a coach for next season, I'll keep the status in this post current as the confirmations come in

Let us know how much you love the place and would struggle to exist wholly without ongoing participation, or otherwise. Would like to lock in teams asap..

    I’m in.

Being involved in the ORFFA for the past decade has been great and I plan on continuing for the long-term. In the past couple of years with so many things having changed due to COVID such as attending far less sport than usual and frequently having a km restriction on how far you can travel from home it has been fantastic to continue the routine of submitting a team for the Cradle Mountain Devils and participating in the ORFFA during the 2020 and 2021 AFL home and away seasons.

At this stage I understand we have at least one coach who is not going around next year, as @DaveH is having to pull out due to working commitments. I know @snoz has been contacted about a potential replacement he knows of, if anyone else has anyone keen to pick up a team give me a shout.

@jimbowan @Lenny120 @bama if you could confirm you are in that would be great, I will also send you guys a message :)

Hi lads, its with some regret that I am going to stand down. I just havent been that into it over the last 12+ months and life\work has gotten much busier for me so things like ORFFA has absolutely fallen down the list of things i need to get done each week. I think I realised over the final 2-3 weeks this year when I am not sure i even entered a team, which isnt fair to anybody.

So go the Cods, I hope they can continue on with the rebuild, there are some nice pieces there. For gods sake dont let the new coach trade any of the young guys!

Thanks for all the good times and the laughs, Jimbo out.

No, thank you jimbo it's been our pleasure and fortune to have you here right from the start. Gotta respect your decision - I know it would not have been taken lightly.

I think my memory is correct but I remember a review you penned which was based on spud varieties. It was laugh out loud funny and fortunately there was no drink in my hand or mouth at the time or the white shag pile would have no longer been been "pristine." (If someone else wrote it, my sincere apologies but I searched ORFFA for it unsuccessfully.)

Good luck @jimbowan hope you know you will always be welcome here.

I agree with the sentiments above @jimbowan I remember you particularly going hard in geek pride round one year, with the Codpieces being true to the theme and their nickname by rocking out in stormtrooper outfits!

You built a juggernaut pf a team under the little master too...

Now, before you leave, can I grab a couple of those youngins for a box of bbq shapes?

Thanks for the kind words. I am sure I will lurk around a bit to keep up to date just don’t have the desire to coach right now. Good luck for next season all.
