well I have thought about the all Rookie midfield all summer, so finally with the teams being announced I am going to try it out.............yep 8 X GWS Rookies in the middle Brendon Goddard, Sam Fisher, Chris Newman, Jed Adcock, Heath Grundy, Nick Malceski, Brian Lake Brandon Ellis, Peter Yagmoor Stephen Coniglio, Dom Tyson, Will Hoskin-Elliott, Toby Greene, Devon Smith, Curtly Hampton Dylan Shiel, James McDonald Shane Mumford, Ben McEvoy Jonathan Giles, Orren Stephenson Adam Goodes, Nathan Fyfe, Matthew Pavlich, Dustin Martin, Leigh Adams, Nick Riewoldt, Patrick Dangerfield Adam Kennedy, Billie Smedts doubt that Grundy, Malceski, Adams, N-Riewoldt and Dangerfield will become Top 10 for their positions but if they can score around 85 - 90 points per game I will be happy need to try something different, either be very stupid or a genius Cheers
My eyes hurt. I wanted to know where you'd spent all the $$ that wasn't spent in the MIDs, but just can't see where the money went. An interesting exercise, definitely something different. Good luck!
Cheers Jason still gives me 12 Premiums (Goddard, Fisher, newman, Adcock, Mumford, McEvoy, Goodes, Fyfe, Pavlich, Martin, Adams and St Nick) and 4 Mid-Pricers (Grundy, Malceski, Lake and Dangerfiled) and 14 Rookies (although Coniglio, Tyson, Hoskin-Elliott etc cost a bit more I guess if Shheds decide to rotate the mids too much I will be stuffed but oh well have thought of about 1000 different combos (like most people) good luck for the season
I'd put Adcock, Adams and NRoo in the mid-price bracket too though. Which means you'll need more upgrades than you have trades available to get a top team together.
In deference to Jason's eyes, this Board is really for general discussion. If you want a specific RMT, then start a thread under this Board (not on it). Mind you, Herbie's team is certainly a good way to start some discussion!
While everyone is rating teams, can I also suggest that you head over to your leagues tab and sign up to your state and team-based leagues. Not sure about them all, but I know of a fair few that are still not full, so lets get them filled up people!
Don't know about you Jason, but I am a bit surprised that RMTs have been reduced to a trickle when people still have a number of days for final tweaking and rethinking their decisions before final lockout. Not complaining.
The floodgates will reopen when the rest of the teams are announced. We're all really still just guessing about rookie-priced players and their chances of being in their respective final 22s until then.
I have gone with the gun's / newbies approach and I'm not getting points on the board. 2050 last week, 2054 projected this week. What am I doing wrong ?
