Seems a few players for both sides were caught up in customs, and the cavity searches found my left shoe up Petrie's arse. Spelunkers home with only Mackie getting over the jet lag to ton up for the victors in a low scoring affair <td class='LadderHeader center' colspan='2' style='margin: 0px; padding: 2pt 2pt 2pt 5pt; border: 0px; text-align: center; background: transparent;]Home Team <td class='LadderHeader center' colspan='2' style='margin: 0px; padding: 2pt 2pt 2pt 5pt; border: 0px; text-align: center; background: transparent;]Away Team <td class='LadderCell ' style='margin: 0px; padding: 2pt 2pt 2pt 5pt; border: 0px; text-align: right; background: transparent;][span id='dnn_ctr718_View_rptFixture_HScore_01053 <td class='LadderCell ' style='margin: 0px; padding: 2pt 2pt 2pt 5pt; border: 0px; text-align: right; background: transparent;][span id='dnn_ctr718_View_rptFixture_HTeam_0Gundagai Grasshoppers vs [span id='dnn_ctr718_View_rptFixture_ATeam_0Charlies Opening [span id='dnn_ctr718_View_rptFixture_AScore_01136 Def: Matt SUCKLING 93 Daniel TALIA 35 0 Aaron MULLETT 60 Jack Frost 72 0 Mid: Lenny Hayes 85 Tom Rockliff 74 0 Taylor Adams 114 Lachie Neale 68 0 Ruc: Aaron Sandilands 94 0 Fwd: Sam Dwyer 100 Lewis Taylor 101 0 0 0 0 Int: Jimmy Webster 85 Jarrod Witts 72 0 Def: Andrew Mackie 117 Cale Hooker 73 Shaun ATLEY 0 Heath Grundy 77 Lachie Hansen 89 0 Mid: Andrew Swallow 86 Danyle Pearce 42 Marcus Bontempelli 0 Kieren Jack 98 Stephen Hill 97 0 Ruc: Eric MacKenzie 53 0 Fwd: Drew Petrie 58 Mark LeCras 47 Patrick Ambrose 67 Jack GUNSTON 0 Zac Merrett 57 0 Int: Leigh Montagna 89 Josh THOMAS 86 Sam Reid 0 Votes: 5: Mackie (COP) 4: Adams (GG) 3: Taylor (GG) 2: Dwyer (GG) 1: Jack (COP)

The match committee at Darraweit is off to gave a drink, think about what mightve been and wonder how many black cats have crossed our path. Damn. Looks like you only lost to Iron Knob by about 35 pts too! You came very close to providing them with their first defeat of the season. Sorry to hear about Cooney. It's a shame to see him get injured as he has been playing well. Thanks Ant. He has been really good so it was sad to see him injured. Just shaking my head - score 1300+ with Cooney getting 20 (injured) Coniglio 18 (because for some reason he was again sub) and Cornes 45 (that one is my fault, should've put him on the bench). Had Hill's 113 on the emergency list too. If Coniglio or Cooney play more than a quarter I'd probably get home. As it was it took a 50 point last quarter from Nathan Jones to assure Iron Knob the win and a bloody good 1350 or so too. Goddard and Nic Nat played the games of their lives - even Eddie Betts cracked the ton up forward where I was short McGlynn. If I was a coach I'd be really happy with the guys' efforts - but I fear hat things will tumble back to earth next week. At least Hill will get a game!

What a bloody good game. Frustrating as hell, but a really good game. Again changes for next week, with Cooney out, Hill to come in and Coniglio probably making way as I can't trust he won't be sub again. Cornes gets a reprieve perhaps as I have no-one to replace him right now with no extra playing forwards, backs or mids.
I'll also put the call out now if someone wants to act as scribe for this week. I'm still not great health wise, and with writing deadlines at work I'm not finding a lot of spare time to write extra bits and pieces. My aim will be to return to the job for next round when I'm feeling a damn sight better.
Bad luck Chris was a very close game with the Knob's only just getting home on another strong performance from Jones. Very lucky to be undefetaed this year could have easily dropped 2 or 3, not in the same class as the Chooks atm.... they are looking dominant.

Good game Chels.. unlucky you got me on a good week. Very up and down at the moment. Presita (4 votes) and Franklin (3 votes) can stay as it is.

Bloody brilliant sNoZ. The depth of talent in the ORFFA ranks is stunning. If only a certain team had that depth ....
Welcomemate......I should try to contribute more, just so busy looking for depth for THAT team you mention
