Cox or Selwood for me. I'm actually enjoying the added dimension of having to think about captains this year. Last year I basically left the c on Ablett week in week out. But now I'm finding I'm reading up more on who's playing who, where and when.... Yes I've chosen the wrong captain, and yes it has cost me points, and yes I've lost a league game because of this, but I'm sure everyone else in my league has done the same thing....adds to the bantering!
Is anyone considering Goddard? He averages 129 against Freo and 137 at the ground. And I got slayed for suggesting him and/or N.Riewoldt last week, but look what happened there. I say he's back. In fact, I'm putting the C on him now. For a little while. For old time's sake.
Goodluck with that call hippy. I will wait for Goddard to put a few 120+ scores together before putting the c on him. Selwood will score 120 min against GC Locking him in without a doubt!!
Those considering Franklin be a tad cautious as last year against the bullies he got 2 x 70's, the year before a 16 (injury??) and the year before in the 90's. I know the bullies aren't the same team this year but his track record is what it is.
Selwood, Buddy or Cox for me. I'm still trying to decide. Not sure. Selwood looks the safest, but Buddy or Cox is pretty tempting.
