Couple of guys in my team simply don't score enough usually (Andy Otten for example). Let's see what happens. Reckon Westhoff might have covered the predicted Otten drop off in scoring. And I liked your move of bringing Kane Cornes on to take Libba out of the game after quarter time. Think it was a match defining move. I reckon with Griffen getting injured they sent Cornes to Libba because the Dogs didn't have a lot else worth tagging this week. That said, Cornes chucked a tag on Hannebery last week and only scored 45 ... there's some good fortune that he decided to actually get the ball himself this week. You've still got a few guns left - let's see what happens this evening. That said - I've lived off some bad fortune at your end this week, so that isn't exactly great.

In all fairness after Saturday night's games, I think that even if Stokes and Shaw had played and hit something close to their averages you would have me covered anyway so I wouldn't feel too bad about giving me a smacking. It is a deserved victory.
I've not double checked the scores I scribbled down, but I believe the Misfits fell over the line by around 60 against an injury ravaged team of spelunkers who still almost managed the win.. Votes: 5 Ward MBM 120 4 Sewell MBM 116 3 LeCras COS 114 2 Pearce COS 108 1 Petrie COS 101

Les W Votes Foul Bay v Darraweit: 5 - Westhoff (DGD) 155 4 - Mumford (FBC) 152 3 - Harvey (DGD) 131 2 - Goddard (DGD) 120 1 - H Shaw (FBC) 116 As per above - results not yet into the TSLeagues tab. Preliminary totaling suggests Darraweit has won by around 200 points. I'll be able to do the write up this week as I no longer feel completely like death.
Sometimes I've got some idea how my game's going through the weekend, but not this week. I'm hanging for the stats to get done to find out how I've gone. Gariwerd's looking at back2back wins for the first time all season.
Given Jen's various non-plussed reactions throughout the weekend, I'd say you've got a fair chance of getting the W, Ant.
I am looking forward to the result of the East v West clash of the two Northern Hemisphere based teams. Might I add that scheduling that game in the Solstice round was a stroke of genius Ant.

Kinda wished I had played Bernie Vince instead of dropping him this week, just to make things a little bit more interesting. Poor Bernie was the scape goat for being the last player playing last week when he fell 8 points short of getting me 1600 with a score of 72. Clearly he took the demotion well. Well played Chris, the margin shows that you would have won regardless of the injuries. Turns out I was right and I needed 1400+ to get the chocolates. Going to have to play perfect football now and hope that the Knob slips up again at some stage. Anyone feel like beating them?

Thanks Chief - I'll take the win, but the circumstances with Shaw and Stokes both copping early game injuries aren't great. Was on the wrong end of that last week and it is bloody crappy. Early game injuries and green vests are absolutely the worst - no points at all most of the time, and with injuries the issues could linger. I hope Stokes and Shaw get up quickly and can play in the coming weeks. Had to laugh about what you said about Mr Vince - picked Hill this week after his 110 last week and dropped Coniglio as I was unsure if he'd be sub again. Hill goes and scores a 50 or so this week, Coniglio stars with 110 and isn't sub. Guess there'll be another swap this coming week. Just can't get it right.

Thanks for the 'provisional' result TiB. It is ORFFAly good to see the rejuvenation of teams and that,[span style='background: #ffffff;]IMO,speaks volumes for the mid-season draft and 28 player squads.

you seem remarkably chirpy (pun intended) TiB - good news on the home front, PA's form or the beginnings of a push into the ORFFA eight?
chels wrote: you seem remarkably chirpy (pun intended) TiB - good news on the home front, PA's form or the beginnings of a push into the ORFFA eight? Pun taken. Always try to be chirpy chels, but yanno, sometimes life gives you the bad cards. All of the above, plus a long awaited tax return landed today and I announced I am taking all my staff out to lunch tomorrow. This resulted in a big round of smiles, as only they can in Thailand, and a flurry of planning activity as to the best place to eat. That sort of makes up for a dismal SC performance over the weekend and it pisses me no end when guys like Steve (Port Adelaide) say they got 3864 and 'guess that is about par for the weekend'. The major problem I am having with SC at the moment is that I can't throw my clubs in the creek. Meanwhile the Warriors are doing their best to make sure I am no longer at the juicy end of draft picks.
Walesy, if you happen to read this I see that a match has been omitted from the fixture list in both rounds 17 and 20 - I guess my coding was not perfect after all! Just in case Les is not omni-vigilant could some one with access please amend. Round 17: FBC v. WWW Round 20: CMD v. WKI
