Team selection has cost me all year...down about 200 points because of it this week already. I have to say that I am happy you didn't put those players on the ground, but we still do have three games left and anything can happen. But I am very happy with my team no matter what happens at the end of the round, we are getting better all the time.

Yep, Josh Hill spuds it up and new recruit Lachie Hansen rubs my face in it with a ton

Reckon there's a bit of guessing going on with the influx of players coming into our sides. I had a shocker last week, have done better this week - though my choice to not put Frawley on the bench might be one I regret - seems with Neeld gone he is back in top form.

For the second consecutive week association members seemed loathe to bring a full team across the ditch with the result being a comfortable win to the home side. I am picking the boys from Marble Bar will turn up with a full team ready to play next week.

Misfits home by 100 odd in a game that saw both sides hit by spuds and injuries.

Whilst Darraweit didn't have as many stars as Cradle Mountain the Guim still had four centurions in Thompson, Walker, Foley and Harvey as well as a more consistent team performance with the only player who scored under 50 being Ty Vickery and his sub 50 score was due to being played out of position in the ruck. <p style='line-height: 12pt;] <p style='line-height: 12pt;]The loss ends Cradle Mountain's chances of making the finals whilst Darraweit's win has further strengthened their position in the top 8. <p style='line-height: 12pt;] Les W Votes <p style='line-height: 12pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;]5 S Pendlebury (Cradle Mountain) <p style='line-height: 12pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;]4 B Harvey (Darraweit Guim) <p style='line-height: 12pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;]3 D Fletcher (Cradle Mountain) <p style='line-height: 12pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;]2 J Redden (Cradle Mountain) <p style='line-height: 12pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;]1 N Foley (Darraweit Guim) <p style='line-height: 12pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;]1 D Zaharakis (Cradle Mountain) Thanks dmandrews - yes - my defensive four was about the only thing that did well for me this week - the move to trade Duffield seems not to have done anything in terms of blunting the scoring there. McKenzie and Thompson continue to improve, Rance has returned to form, McPharlin is steady ... the good news was that Andy Otten and Chip Frawley also scored 80s, and would be pressing for senior selection on the bench given the rather pathetic efforts of much of the rest of the team. Three players subbed, two injured, one absent and another reported isn't really the ideal way to go about things. Forward line not working right now and due for some big changes to be honest. I'll forgive the young midfielders for being a bit up and down, but Betts has been awful this year and will be getting the chop. Maric to return this week, Cunnington to play a full game, Otten and Frawley into considerations if McKenzie is hurt (and depending on the injury to Frawley, who is reveling in the departure of Mark Neeld it seems), Vickery to go forward by the looks, maybe Brent Harvey too if Westhoff is suspended. Great to see Foley play so well in a rather poor Richmond effort.

A spot of good drafting and some patience with injured players has paid off. If not for a bit of bad luck (Carlisle injured in the warm up and barely scoring) it might've been even closer. And Craig Bird is enjoying an absolute purple patch of form.

For the second consecutive week association members seemed loathe to bring a full team across the ditch with the result being a comfortable win to the home side. I am picking the boys from Marble Bar will turn up with a full team ready to play next week. Hey Chels, did you include Stanton's 117 in that total? Doesn't affect the result but does make it look a bit better. Also, if not, it has a bearing on the medal votes.
