I reckon this week I'm for sure gonna trade out Mundy to ROK. That's a definate to complete my FWDS and provide MPP with Mzungu. However, with Selwood...3 weeks out + 1 bye in finals. Not so sure. I'm aiming for league ownage. If I was to trade Selwood, would it be for Mitchell (against the Suns this week) or Murphy? That's my current dilemma. Or should I wait another week and trade in my Backline, which currently is being fielded by 3 rookies (lower, heppel, puopulo + jacobs, hibberd, c howard switching between midfield and back)
HI PwnSC I think you also should look at getting Boyd as he has some great matchups in the coming weeks
Nah already got Boyd. My mids are pendles, swan , mundy, ablett, selwood, boyd. With iles, Hibberd, krak. With mpp action. Starting to lean towards Mitchell. But who here thinks that Mitchell will be rested in the final gold coast match with the hawks in round 24???
@PwnSC In the review someone said that Mitchell's two 11month old daughters were on Royal Childrens Hospital and there's a chance Mitchell could miss.......
considering Selwood is out for 4 plus one final it is time to trade him out. Thinking Selwood to Boyd, then either Harris or Swallow for Goddard to shore up back and give me a mid/def MPP link. Out of Harris and Swallow who would be the most reliable scorer and hence keeper? Cheers Brian.
I would love some help. Going for a league win. I have 9 trades and 40 grand. I have montagna, swan, selwood out and already have Judd albett and Boyd, thinking selwood out but don't know who for? All coments welcome
Due to sc byes I'd look to Priddis or Thompson. There are some in form f/m mpp's available that could also be considered if you have a rookie forward link. Both Thompson and priddis have some poor recent scores to recycle so mpp could provide greater flexibility. Even Goddard is great value this week if you a def mpp link.
@beaufisher S.Thompson and M.Priddis could go well, Luke Hodge versing GC this week so he may have a big one. Daniel Wells would be risky but if He keeps playing well then he's a great option.
Hi Guys, what are people's thoughts on Rob Murphy? I just had a look at his numbers and if you take out the 2 bad scores of 35 and 45, both at Patersons stadium in the West,he is actually averaging 98.44.This would currently rank as the 6th best defender average and the 10th best forward average. Keep in mind he has MPP status.Current Price $362,500 so pretty good price in my book. If you also look at games at Etihad he is averaging exactly 100. Of the 12 games left he plays another 7 games there. A game at Metricon against GCFC and 1 each at SCG, AAMI and MCG and the bye in round 20 so no bye in finals. My team at the moment is: Deledio,Shaw,Goddard,Adcock,Gibbs,Heppell,Lower L.Thompson,Pederson,Retzlaff Boyd,Priddis,S.Thompson,Judd Bartel,Swan Mzungu,Hibberd,Bewick Cox,Sandilands,Smith,Bailey Fyfe,Franklin,Sylvia,N.Roo,Petrie,Yarran,Rioli Matera,Prestia,Howe Only 8 trades left and $1,700 cash. Option A: Trade out Heppell as a direct swap for Murphy as Heppel's break even is well over his average and has the bye in the last round. Leaves 7 trades and no cash. Option B: Trade L.Thompson to Strauss and Matera to Murphy. Leaves me an important MPP swap with Retzlaff in the backline so can bring him in here. Leaves $35,900 left over and 6 trades. Option C: Trade Adcock/Heppell/Lower ( Don't know which one especially not knowing how long Adcock is out for) to Strauss and Matera to Murphy and leaves me at least $134,00 at a minimum to upgrade Heppell/Lower to Fisher after the Saints bye. Option D: Do nothing,as have cover on my benches and current MPP,due to limited trades. Any suggestions?? Looking at trading out Z.Smith in the ruck to a real cheapie to free up cash to allow any trades after round 16 and Sandi back full time with Bailey as coverage.
I am happy with my Backline, mids and rucks. I need to finish off my forward line. Currently. looking to bring in either Didak or O'Keefe with DPP. to cover for byes/injuries in FWD and Mids. No spare cash in the bank. Option 1 Darling to Howe. A Krakouer to O'Keefe. Option 2 Richardson/Harper to Howe. Darling to Didak.(trade done after Collingwood bye) Who would you trade out of Richardson and Harper. Also, trading out Selwood. Tossing up between Ablett & Murphy? Thoughts appreciated
Alternatively, Selwood & Zaharakis to: 1) Boyd and Chapman (and end up with $62k) 2) Ablett and Fyfe (and end up with $10k)
Current mids are S Thompson, Judd, D Swallow, Iles, Prestia and Mzungu with Pendles, selwood and Polec warming the pine With 9 trades in the bank and 259000 in the bank. I am thinking swallow to Boyd as a definite trade, but am now thinking with selwood out and a bye still to come, trading him to possibly GAJ Thoughts on this trade?
@Quantum - can you do both? if I could I would be, but I'd have to trade Selwood and someone other than Zaharakis to do it, and I don't want to!

Quote from JPK on June 15, 2011, 06:35 Alternatively, Selwood & Zaharakis to: 1) Boyd and Chapman (and end up with $62k) 2) Ablett and Fyfe (and end up with $10k)
Why do you want Chappy? Still carrying some sort of injury and struggling to crack the ton!

Quote from PwnSC on June 15, 2011, 09:12 Quick picks: Juddy or Murphy? Harvey or ROK?
Judd ROK
@JPK I'd go option 2. Ablett ahead of Boyd due to no bye. Fyfe ahead of Chappy due to non-league and non-finals bye. Apart from the byes they're hard to split - although I agree with DC re Chappy having some sort of issue.
