Waikiks at home to the Battlers this week. As of Saturday evening 902/10. I see Ebert and Murph ]scored very well, how are travelling overall JC? My team starting to look a little thin with Brad Crouch, Knights, Burbury and Gardiner on the injury list. Ideal time to play the Misfits, BUT NOT THE Codpieces and Foul Bay. Thank you very much to the FIXtures Committee. Fixed that up for you chels :)

Been on the receiving end of 180 from Pendles, 160 from Zorko, 145 from Stevie J .... none of my players have scored over 117 - yet if Nic Nat, Frawley and Tyson keep up their efforts I still might just squeak home. Need a good game from Harvey this arvo. But geez, last week Treloar nailed 150+ against me, and now these three from the Devils this week - feel like my mob is being used for target practice.

Chris, at quarter time last night it looked as though Darraweit were going to easily account for the Devils, then Pendles was phenomenal for the rest of the match to score 182, his highest score for the Devils,Zorko and Stevie Jhave got in on the act soit looks likeCradle Mountain will dominate the Les W.Medal votes but a very consistent team effort from the Guim should be enough to see them prevail. So far nine of 11Darraweit players have scored over 86 with more scores above this mark to follow. If you keep racking up the wins it doesn't matter if you continue to be used as target practice by opposition players scoring 140+, much better to get the win then the Les W. votes, however you are very unlucky regarding the number of 140+ scores conceded in the first two rounds. Highest losing score in Round 1 was 1,219 by Birdsville against Darraweit and it is likley that the highest losing score in Round 2 will again be the Guim's opponent.

At the moment I reckon you a one forward short of being nigh on unstoppable with that midfield of yours - have you got any forwards to come back in soon?

Well played, Sir :) The top end of town travelling ok at Birdsville, but just not consistent enough after the first 4 or 5. Daniel Wells may find himself dropped out of pure spite after his first two efforts this year. Mayne and Cloke not far behind. Absolutely disgraceful.

Things were looking a bit shaky after Saturday night, but captain Selwood and the rest of the Cats boys have done it again for me. Libba and Dahlhaus finished it off for me in the last game, despite Libba looking a bit below his best again and Dahlhaus not being terribly efficient. Judd, Ibbo and Scotland still missing so happy with the scoring overall. Forward line looks great on paper, but needs to lift if it wants to knock off another big rival in the Cows next week. At the moment I reckon you a one forward short of being nigh on unstoppable with that midfield of yours - have you got any forwards to come back in soon? Short answer - no. Long answer - Adam Schneider has got an injured back and is listed as being 2-3 weeks away. I have got several young forwards whoweren't named in their AFL clubs squad of 25 for Round 2, mainly due to form. Cradle Mountain have 10 forwards on their list so have got the quantity but don't haveenough quality. Ben Kennedy was an emergency for Round 2, so would be achance to be in the last next couple of weeks. Honeychurch was an emergency for Round 1 but wasn't in the 25 for Round 2. Boyd might be in the mix in the next few weeks and hopefully JKH can lose the vest. Could be a battle for the Devilsto name four in position non-vested forwards up until the mid-season break, will be looking for a couple of forward reinforcements at this time. Boomer decides todo some target practice of his own to score 169, incredibly only good enough for four votes whilst the Amazing Zorko is even more unlucky to score 161 and only receive three votes. In Round 1 of theORFFAonly fourplayers scored 145 or more yet inRound 2 Devilsvs Guimfour players score 145 or more in the one match. Well played Chris on a score of just over 1500, including nine tons, seven of which between 100 and 109, great all round team effort.

<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;] <p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;] <p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;] <p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Darraweit won an extremelyentertaining free flowing match on the road against Cradle Mountain by 162 points with three phenomenal individual performances that are going to be very hard to top in the one match this season. Devils captain Pendlebury lifts his team back into the contest after a quiet first quarter to score 182 - his most ever in his two and a bit seasons as a Devil. With very little support in the forward Dayne Zorko at 174cm puts on a show to score a much nedded161 for an undermanned Cradle Mountain forward line.Darrawieit Guim small forward Brent Harvey who is only 167cm and the second oldest player in the ORFFA not to be outdoneuses hisspeed and skills to maximum effect to get his highest score in the ORRFA - 169. Cradle Mountain smashed the Darraweit midfield by 108 points, 520 to408however a more consistent performance by the Guim see them win every other line by at least 45 points and record a massive score of 431 in the forward lineinspired by Boomer. Whilst Cradle Mountain have a trio of superstar performances with Pendles, Zorko and Stevie J each scoring at least 145 they don't have enough support with Redden the only other ton. Darraweit on the other hand have an incredibly consistent performance across the board with only two 100+, but seven more tons between 100 and 109 and only two scores below 75, 67 and 73 which is fantastic for your weakest duo. Whilst Darraweit may have suprised many people by making the 2013 ORRFAGrand Final it wont be a surprise if theyagain go deep in the finalsduring 2014. Despite the loss Cradle Mountain have announced themselves as final contenders in their own right, however theyneed tostrengthen theirside in the forward 3 and 4 positions. Les W. We also have some selection stuff ups (aka issues) to sort out. The depth and / or consistency of the squads is just not there. While we can both compete on some lines the others let us down.
The Waikiks are happy to have recorded two wins but they have come at a cost. Brad Crouch is out until after the MSD and Ziebell is winged. Knights and Gardiner are still in the sick bay. Luke Russell, our big GCS hope, is yet to be selected. At least he played in the Magoos this week as did George Burbury who has come back quickly from a nasty injury. Tough week coming up with a trip to Foul Bay who are intent on reversing last season's shock defeat. Good luck next week JC, it is always a pleasure to catch up with you my friend. Hope Magnum is fine for next week's game.

Almost 2900 points worth of aggregate score; something which is nigh on unheard of. Great game - commiserations to the Devils who showed some real class and should have few problems finding their way into the finals. Boomer came through late - think he scored something like 90 points in the last quarter due to scaling. Looking forward to getting Andrew Walker back next week - but the rest of my defence is still hobbled - Rance, Seedsman and Otten all out for weeks yet. Meanwhile Jack Newnes, Eddie Betts and Lachie Hunter are pushing hard for selection at some stage.

I'll go through and grab the scores as they come in for the write up and Round 2 review. If anyone hasn't put the scores in, can I get them to do so in this thread (this seems to be the place) when they can. I can work through the review from there. Thanks!
